Syracusae is a gem in the southern part of Italia on the island of Sicilia. The Greeks control the region. Well, we want it. Thus, a new assignment and a military one at that. Set up camp just outside the city of Syracusae. We want you to be positioned not too close but far enough that you could still see their farming facilities. Other legions will be in other sectors of the region. Your job is to engage the Greeks whenever they come to pay you a visit. They'll probably introduce themselves to you quite frequently as they patrol the coast quite often. Build towers to assist your legions especially if they decide to dis- patch larger forces from the city or from other Greek cities. By our constant presence here we could weaken them eventually as they will be obliged to do battle with our forces at a regular bases. You will still need to trade but it will be quite limited; weapons only. So watch your spending at the start. May the gods watch over you. SPQR & Abcedeus.
