This is a fun little scenario, and an excellent learning tool. There's mega-money to be made and mucho knowledge/skills to learn/hone. Current time is July, 340, 9 1/2 years after game start, 41/2 years after declining promotion to continue ruling for another 5years. You have 6 months until game ends. My goals and intentions were: (1) Continue experimenting with various housing block layouts. (2) Develop and evolve the city at a steady, measured, even pace, trying not to rush things and attempting to maintain an unemployment of about5%. (3) Provide an industrial "worker" housing base, separate from city housing. (4) Do away with my previous use of massive farm worker slums. Rely on other sources for farm labor based on correct housing placement. (5) Learn how to streamline/improve industry efficiency as best as possible, concentrating on efficient initial placement and industrial relationships- dock-warehouse, warehouse-workshop, workshop-raw materials, farm-granaries, warehouses and granaries to markets, markets to population, water-population, etc. (6) Develop and maintain a "Luxury" section of town as far as possible (as I've yet to do so), and see what it will take to support such a section. (7) Work on ways to rapidly improve and fulfill all rating/population requirements.
