thanks for playing my map and the quick review. Nice and simple solution :)
With the term "build a retreat for the upper plebian class and middle class patricians" in the description I actually had a lot more Grand Insulae in mind. But I guess some of these fussy romans have to find another summer resort :D

I'm feeling a litte sorry now :D You could have denied the access to the academy. This way one has to build almost 60 MVs if the rest of the housing stays at SI. I really dislike building that many patricians. So GI would be the option to go:)

Hmm, Medium Villa for max. Housing sounds quite undoable on this map and I didn't want to exclude too many people this time, by making the map too hard.
If someone really enjoyed a map, he can always limit himself on a second attempt (e.g. no plaza, statues, third food etc.) for a greater challenge or just for fun.
But many roads lead to Rome :D One can go "minimalistic" and go just for the goals, or you can try to build the most beautiful city ever...
And I just thought 80+ Grand Insulae would certainly have looked great on this map :D
