I have updated the map after Commissar Marek's suggestion.He played on Twitch with augustus.Now the map has a time limit of 30 years and harder military and request! If you want to do even harder, make your own goals.God luck!

This is the first of a few Roman armies to be annihilated by Hannibal in the Second Punic War, each of them destroyed by brilliant tactical maneuvers and Roman impulsiveness.Hannibal harassed the Roman camp with his cavalry and lured the Romans through a frigid river without breakfast while the Carthaginians rested and ate breakfast by the fire.

Everything works without any issues.
Balance: 4
There are plenty of trade opportunities and even natives to trade with. I would preffer to have more terrain or economic challenge but the map is supposed to be lenient. Military is fine as it is, some confusing open edge areas can gaslight you a bit but the attacks are linear and not a huge threat, again the clearly map is not meant to be too punishing.
I would recommend it for intermediate players as gentle introduction into custom maps after they play the campaign.

Map looks much more natural especially with water than other of Marias maps i liked it. The area and events are loosely based on historical events which i like.

More than enough resources and farmland, flat land favors standardized blocks.

Partially inspired by historic events and irl location.

Good relaxing map, suitable for intermediate/beginner players as well.
