Romanise Athens and support Pompey with men and supplies. War is expensive so be prepared to send wagons of coin over.
Starting year is 58 BC giving you 10 years before the battle of Dyrrhachium. Will you be able to send enough help to change the outcome or sabotage Pompey and let Caesar rule?
Regardless, you will be pestered to send your men overseas and send weapons to fund the civil war
Map for fun, getting to 10k pop may be challenging
If you want to role-play, you may halt trade with Tarentum till 48BC where you may decide to send your men to Dyrrhachium or not. Loosing results in Caesar winning thus opening trade with Tarentum
A lot of people on a small map means a high level of unemployment because there is no place to build buildings needing a lot of laborers.
Nothing outrageous, nice scenario.

Good looking map. I would have preferred more accessibility for the elevated land but that is a minor issue.
It took me a while before the food logistics took of good. Placing a lot of granaries along the coast made the difference. Reduction in food consumption by building the grand temple for Ceres en Mars made things al lot easyer.
I uploaded my final city.

@Hedwig. Thank you for sharing your map.
Yes, getting the Ceres grade temple and 20% less consumption was part of the design people would need to figure out.
