During the first immigration the wolves were not hungry (30BC-Apr).
Any idea why they were just sitting around?
The fertile island was reached with the push (29BC-Jun).
The first invasion and Caesar's visit could easily be handled with hit & run.
Despite bribery, there was a visit from Caesar, albeit only one with a small cohort.

Nice idea to beat the map in a special way!
I think the wolves stay calm for a time because of the trees. They do not have enough space. My mistake.
You pointed out already another one, that hurts more. First I had rocks only ON the cliffs, then realized some allow mining and deleted them again. I was sure to have deleted all of them, to have just cliffs left, but obviously it is not the case. Did I not even delete everything, so also the cliffs, to be sure? I do not remember exactly. Is it like the "hidden farmland?" :( This is kind of annoying to me. But thanks to you for pointing it out, although it will not be corrected, like always.

You are right, if you remove the trees the wolves attack.
That was new to me. Thanks :)
