Our early investments in quality weapons are paying off. Reports from Gaul say our army is doing better than expected, thanks in large part to you..
However things are not doing as well in our south. The Carthaginans have amassed a colossal army and have breached our borders and is now headed to Hispania. Such an army will be more encumbered by the blistering desert heat and slow them down. Our scouts say we have only a few years before they reach Tingis.
For this, I have sent my legions to aid you. And I will need you to build a settlement in Qamedina and stop the enemy from advancing further. You will find the area rich in natural resources, though lacking in iron. What is important is that Qamedina is a very strategic location in mounting a defense. Use the terrain and the large native settlements there to hold the enemy at bay before aid arrives.
Scenario Info -
A military map with large amounts of enemy army.
30 years survival victory.
Tips -
Stockpiling huge amounts of iron early on will prove to be a prudent strategy as Qamedina has no iron of its own.
i opened the map and before i attempt it, i usually work out the number of housing blocks and where to place them, industry locations etc.
half the map is pretty much taken by the natives, are you really sure there's enough space to reach 16k pop and 75 prosperity? even if i'm not going for palace block, i would need about 191 units of merged large/grand insulaes.
not to mention areas for industries and forts.

I haven't tested the map that well on getting pop. It is only based on my estimate. But the high population requirement coupled with limited land space and massive number of invaders is intended and part of the challenge. Right before the time limit is up, I'd hope that 90-100% of land buildable would be used.
Hopefully(cross fingers), one of us will get thru it!
