A couple of guidelines I set early on to come up with a somewhat coherent city design:
- each parcel of land will only have 1 type of housing
- parts of the housing need to be located along the coastline
Like I did in the Venice map, there are pockets of 2x2 plaza configurations used throughout the city. There's also a tiny stretch along the large palace loop in which I tried to replicate a Zeus boulevard, with detached aqueducts thrown in to look like columns.
Played at VH difficulty on Julius 1.60. The immigration bug fix on VH was enabled as I got impatient in timing the immigration push.
No debt, no blessings, no gifts, no gatehouses. A few progressive saves from the early years are included.
