Welcome to Gallaecia, the home of the Gallaecians.
A fertile region, rich in natural resources at the north-western corner of Hispania, shall be your new home. Found a settlement and build it into a magnificent Roman city, home to over 7000 citizens.

But beware of the natives. Although they have been driven back, they have retreated behind their stone ramparts. You could also try to trade with them.
Danger also threatens you from the interior of Hispania through raids by native and armed Iberian troops. So build up a garrison to defend yourselves.

Trade plays an important role in this area. Valuable iron and marble deposits have been discovered, the raw materials of which are urgently needed for the construction of temples, patrician palaces and the production of weapons. However, due to the steep cliffs and sharp rocks in the sea, access by sea is extremely dangerous and a lighthouse is highly recommended to show sailors a safe way. Once the trade routes have been established, however, nothing stands in the way of expanding the city.

It is worth mentioning that in Brigantium, now A Coruña, the second oldest lighthouse, the Tower of Hercules, was built in the 2nd century AD. Gaius Julius Caesar also visited the place in 62 BC.

Feedback on difficulty is very much appreciated.
