This is a nice geographical map by Pontius Pilatus. I found it very challenging as I tried playing through all the events in the 40 year time limit. It's beatable with all the ramped-up requests fulfilled, but you do have to know them beforehand.
Story (by the original author)
It's 60AD and the Jews of the holy land are getting restless as the Godemperor Nero becomes an embarrassment to their beliefs. Open rebellion will soon break out and the poor fellow entrusted with the heavy task of pacifying the region is YOU.
Start out finding spots to build bridges over river Jordan as your citizens, unlike some Jews, can't walk on water. Oh, and a fire in Rome makes Nero ask for marble early on in the game so don't delay opening trade routes as the clay found in your lands is no substitute fitting for an emperor.
Spend your money wisely because tax collection outside your city center won't be possible, with rebels out for Caesar's head. Relying on trade could prove to be your only way to beat these perillous times and then again maybe not; traders can never be trusted to give you the right price for your goods. Relief will come in 40 years but it won't be easy to make it that long.
