As Rome expands its empire, newly discovered lands are being annexed to its borders, inviting a massive influx of people who are seeking new opportunities. A vast, fertile region in Valentia has been set up to accomodate this incoming wave of immigration.

You are to head over there to fulfill the arduous task of maximizing the potential of both your resources and building space. Nothing but a sprawling metropolis is to be expected by the end of this mission.







NOTE:
This is a re-edited version of Terra Nova from the levels of peace scenarios. The edits are mostly changes in map design to get better yields on food sources, particularly fishing.

I did a max population test before on Terra Nova which came up to 45k with a couple of building areas left on the map. Everyone was fed, prosperity was at 100 with a good mix of housing, and the city was still within the sprite limit. I made a 50k push on the same city but with large tents which dropped the prosperity rating. I think with the edits, a 50k 100PR city with no tents is possible.

I've included 2 maps here. TerraMax is the 45k version, which I know is winnable. TerraMaxima is the same scenario but with the population goal set to 50k. This one hasn't been tested to victory yet.

Credit to etss for the map called New World, which the TerraNova and TerraMaxima scenarios were based on.

Updated the map with a couple of fixes (3-07-21)
- added one land tile to extend the coast line at [115, 20], near fish point 8 (it was present in the previous edits, but somehow got trimmed off)
- cleared a few obstructions around the small inland lake in the south

Latest update, and should be the last one (3-08-21)
- added another wharf isle, and re-designed all the existing ones.
