This was an entry by Pelagius in the BSC (Best Scenario Contest) from 2002. I love the swampland design of this one. My old zip file doesn't have a scenario description though (just a judges' critique and scoring of the map). I couldn't find one either in the BSC threads in the forum.
Anyway, you can check out another great entry in the contest CJ Tarsus by Caesar Jan. It looks like the scenario link is still active in the author's site. Just google "caesar jan geocities"
Nicely balanced gameplay with a few twists here and there. A trade-off between building on flat vs. rugged terrain. Rugged terrain and the isles are safer but requires more thought to the city design. The open part of the map gives excellent access to sea trade but may require you to build dangerously close to the edges. And this map has quite a few enemy points.
Unfortunately, the open part of the map feels a bit stale, like the designer ran out of ideas after finishing the rugged terrain and islands. Just a personal opinion, is doesn't break the map and surves it's purpose.
There is room for creative city designs to bottleneck the enemy close to bridges or just spam the map with towers if that's your preference. The Dinarii should soon flow in on this map with huge export opportunities.
