Here I will share my efficient 3k housing block for Plebs and Equites. Only one of each central building is required but two food markets are included to keep up with demand as population grows (more may be added as well). I have also included 4 prefects and engineers for safety, but more may be needed depending on environment. The way each house is facing matters and allows this efficiency to work.
The plebs can work outside this block in a nearby farming/industry/trading district. At base level, the Equites will all work within this block with only 8 Equites unemployed. Hows that for efficiency? I use this block as a simple starting point to support a bigger city with minimal resources and no waste of workers. More blocks and fancier facilities can be conveniently connected to this block from any side, just mind the reservoir as needed.
Also, I couldn't figure out how to post screenshots in the gallery? I suppose that isn't possible? I have a few I would like to share.
