With Emperor now on GOG, ALL OF SIERRA'S city builders are now available to the world.

Have wishlisted it.

Does anyone know if it includes the patch. Reason I ask is that the Sold Out Software version sadly couldn't be patched and it made it practically useless for purpose!

Hi.

It's been a few years since I last played. Previously had the Sold Out Software version, but now I have the GOG download.

The game seems to work OK, but shouldn't the buildings have some animations?

I can see walkers, announcers, hunters and farm workers, market buyers and distributors normally, plus a few buildings eg trade post have a static man on the tower, but other buildings such as herbalist, inspectors tower, shrine, and even mill look unmanned (although food appears in mill and the walkers seem OK)

Am I misremembering or is something wrong? and can I do anything about it?

I don't have Emperor, but Pharaoh can lose building animations. (It's rare--I think I've seen it twice.) Rebooting the computer fixed the problem.

Just a pity that it's only available in English. Call me a nationalist... But the voice acting was always quite good in the CB games! (And I still got it.)
