hey I just visited gog.com and found they have a request games section. I searched and I found phaoroh, the other city builders are probably there as well. I though I'd share that, maybe it'd get enough votes to get rebooted. if the other city building games are on there (and this post doesn't break any rules) maybe post them here so we can all vote to get them reissued.

here's the link to phaoroh:

Yes, I was really looking forward to their Medieval Mayor, but apparently development stalled, and it looks like the website hasn't been updated for a couple of years now. As you say, it's a shame.

I agree with you about SimCity, and that's a shame too. I was always more excited by what seemed like the promise of the game, than what it really delivered.

> "I wish it wouldn't, and that one day we will see on Steam, and later on GoG, a City Building game based in Mesopotamia (my longtime dream)."

Yes, that would be great. Imagine building the Hanging Gardens! Similarly, it would have been great to have a shot at building Teotihuacan or Machu Picchu. Based on my own ethnicity my dream would be for a Celtic version, but no culture that we would recognise as Celtic really did much in the way of actual city-building, so there's not much there to work with.

There is a really big sale for city builders on GOG.com right now, especially C3/Pharaoh/Zeus! A little more than two days left.

Also support this http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/emperor_rise_of_the_middle_kingdom if possible. We need Emperor on GOG too!

I have no idea. The forum software does not let us delete replies, we can only edit them. So either your reply was never posted or some glitch in the server ate it

I checked and the message was correctly posted, therefore it was a glitch. I thought the deletion could be about the content of the message. It regards the fact the informed sale is, perhaps, for US only, as in my country the prices remain the same.

In the Brazilian page of GoG, the price of the collection is exactly the same of last week R$ 39,77 (roughly US$12,00 by today's exchange) when I bought the series.

I had Ph 1.1 w/o Cleo, C4 and E-RotMK. Now I have the rest of the full series (C3, Cleo and Acro).

Wonder how they have solved the problem with Caesar being bound to the speed of the CPU. I have the original Caesar but had to get an old computer from 1992 for making the game playable. On the computer I had around year 2000 I lost a few seconds after starting the game because of how fast the game was running

Wow, I've heard of Caesar I and Caesar II and researched about it long ago, and now seeing it at GOG, Caesar I kinda looks like the gameboy version of "Legend of Zelda" to me. :P

It looks real interesting, though.

Now that everyone can acquire and play Emperor on modern computers...

...does that mean that multiplayer Emperor plays are now plausible to host (over Hamachi or otherwise)??

Does that mean we can build The Great Wall together??
