As the game does not support widescreen and thereby will get the graphics stretched, the best you can do is open the Nvidia Control Panel and change a setting there. Unless you have changed the settings for getting access to the Nvidia Control Panel, right click empty space on the desktop, then select "Nvidia Controlpanel". You can also find a link to the "Nvidia Control Panel" in "Windows Control Panel".
In the "Nvidia Control Panel" click the + at "Display".
Under "Display", select "Adjust desktop size and position".
Select "Use Nvidia scaling with fixed dimensions"
I'm translating from Danish so it might be worded a bit different. There is also a setting named "Use Nvidia scaling" but it's not that one but the other. It will lead to black bars to the right and left of the game but it will not be stretched.
The changed setting will likely affect all non-widescreen supporting games leading to black bars. I do not expect the setting to affect widescreen capable programs that supports the monitors native resolution.
Hope above is of help to you.
