I've installed Pharoah again and started playing after a long layoff. I find that my tax collector structure is not available even after I build the required city palace. What gives? Thanks in advance!

Have you installed the patches available for Pharaoh seems there is a dim memory of that problem?

Hello desertsnake, welcome to Heaven!

The other explanation is that it depends on which mission you are playing. The Palace first appears in the second mission, called Thinis 1, but tax collectors are not available until late in the 4th mission Nekhen.

Certainly you should install the v1.2 patch anyway as mouse suggested.
