It's been a few years since I last played this, but I downloaded the manual and I think there is a 'delete' function. Probably represented by a picture of a shovel on the toolbar.

Have you played through the 'Learn to Play' stuff? That usually covers 'undo' and 'delete'.

Yes, there are a couple of shovels for deleting objects and such....but that would sure be a pain for a large city. Most games have a "delete game", or "replay map" option

Ah, I see what you mean.
Is it possible to select all buildings at once and then press 'Delete'? Otherwise, I think the only way to restart is to go back to the main menu and select the scenario over again.
