It is the first of a series of scenarios I intend to create. These are scenarios that follow on after the
career path that comes with Caesar 3. They are intended to be a hard challenge for those
governers who complete the career and wonder what comes next. As they will follow the same
format as the game career you can keep playing them for ever but it's better to finish as soon as
possible like all C3 games. Level 2 scenarios are meant to be much harder than the last levels of
the C3 career path.
This one I have called Utopia because it's so nice and enjoyable. There is no military action. A
totally peaceful scenario. However the goals are not easy to meet. They are not meant to be. The
goals are at Proconsul level ;
Culture 85
Prosperity 85
Peace 50
Favor 85
Population 25,000
It is set in an enormous central province and will provide anyone who completes it with a true sense of
accomplishment and achievement.
The Story
Well, my friend you have surpassed all the goals that I have set for you over the years. Now as a
reward I have a plum for you. A vast province that will provide you with the opportunity to build
a city second only to Rome, herself. I will only expect a few things from you and these will not
trouble you greatly. There is much trade avaliable here and no fighting to concern yourself with.
I know you have become weary with constant fighting and so I have saved this peaceful area for
you. The reports I have are that there are unlimited fertile meadows and many fish in the waters.
Ample trees and good clay for pottery. Also I believe that Utopia will produce top quality wine.
You should be able to sell a lot of it to your neighbouring governers. You know their palate
demands only the best. Sadly reports indicate frosts in winter so you may not be able to grow
olives but I'm sure others will sell you what you require.
Go, my friend. Build your big city. Enjoy yourself. You have earned it.
Do you accept the challenge?
Are you ready for the next level of career scenarios?
