Hi I am having serious problems with this mission. For whatever reason right at the end of harvest when the carts are supposed to move wheat to granaries they disappear - but only those on eastern and western banks. Every season, the workers go to farms and work normally, they just disappear at the end of July with all the yields.

I tried to replace ferries, make get orders to storages, removing farms and putting them back doesn't help also. It happens on ALL farms but only on the banks - main land works normally as far as I noticed. Any ideas how to fix this?

I don't remember hearing about something exactly like that. If you send a saved game to the address in my profile (mentioning Pharaoh in the email subject), I'll take a look and try to figure it out.

If the cart pusher from the last harvest is still looking for a place to deliver to, then there won't be a new one for the current harvest. In Hetep, with lots of Bast blessings the granaries and storage yards could be filled up and the cart pusher goes to a granary or SY that could be across the map. If I had to guess I would say your problem is wandering cart pushers.

Looks like it has something to do with straw. I turned the straw industry off and it seems to have solved the issue. I still do not understand the real cause of it though.

Probably not. Turning straw OFF does not affect grain harvesting. (The opposite is not true--turning grain OFF does affect straw harvesting.)
I still do not understand the real cause of it though.
You still haven't given us much information. What is the problem? Is it that not enough grain is harvested, so houses run out of grain?

You can still send a saved game (that illustrates the problem) to me, as suggested in reply 1.

I do not think the issue has anything to do with wandering cart pushers - there's a lot of empty storage and granary space close to farms.

Let me rephrase the problem - workers working farms that are most remote from city centre (where I have brick industry) disappear at the end of harvest (like they normally do) but the cart pusher with grain and straw is not appearing at all.

Sorry, it got stuck in "junk email".

Your city apparently exceeded the walker sprite limit (1999) and the destination walker sprite limit (999). The solution is to have fewer walkers and fewer walkers with destinations. The obvious way to do that is to have a significantly smaller city.

The Hetepsenusret that I received had 31660 people, but fell to below 31000 in less than 5 months.

I was hoping on reaching 50k population, but the sprite limit really spoiled the fun for me :/
Anyone know if there's some way to mess with the game files to increase it?

Reach sprite limit with 31600 People @_@

Like I wrote in other thread, I plan to build Hetepsenusret with 33300 People. I was afraid my city would reach sprite limit too, so I did some calculations. Maybe the calculation was not 100% correct, but I got a result, that my city would have only 745 destination's walkers, or about 820 with +10% error's correction. Hm...
