What about the patch?
There was a beta patch released from Sierra Impressions during December 1998. Currently it can only be used with the U.S. version of the game(In other words, you need the c3.exe file from the US version). Keep in mind it IS a BETA patch, which means it IS NOT perfect! The purpose of "beta" is to test software and find any kinks or unexpected problems. After installing, game play may or may not behave as you would expect. Impressions does have a beta forum open at the official Caesar3 site, that is where you report any bugs/suggestions/questions on the patch.
Are there any problems with using Windows NT?
CIII will play without a problem on NT, but keep in mind NT uses DirectX3.0(CIII was designed for DirectX6), so gameplay will be slower.
Can I play CIII without using the CD?
To increase game performance you can copy and run the entire CD to the hard drive. This is to increase performance, NOT a way to pirate the game.
Help! I cannot build anymore buildings!
Currently there is a building limit in the game. The maximum number of buildings is 2000. There is also a limit to the number of walkers the game can have. Cities have been built with over 25k people(done by Proconsul Conan, Impressions employee and C3 master).
