Coginium 1 & Coginium 2

Coginium has been updated to 3500 population ,the military and economy have been adjusted to suit the lower population, it will still be a difficult map but now your sure of enough food for your people.

Coginium 2.sav has been updated with a few changes, a few small changes in fishing, now you will have to convert the natives so you can grow fruit. There is a change in the dock area as well, I changed the ratings a little and you will still need 5000 people. The map is made to play for 28 years and you can do it faster but you will miss some of the harder enemy attacks.

In my final test on hard(my final save is included) I've played this map so much that the end came at Dec.222 with 5150 people 7000dn culture 70 prosperity 49 peace 58 and favor 61, it wouldn't have been hard to raise those numbers.

The original map was designed to be challenging in feeding your people, I put in a lot of price changes and requests from Caeser
to try and slow down an already fast economy, space for your city but not an open easy to use piece to build on, and only a few spots for the reservoirs.

When I posted Coginium I was pretty sure it would work properly, I did test it a few times but I didn't complete the testing, and posted an incomplete map, I do apologize for that and hope you will enjoy what I have done fix the mess.

Prefect Marty Even if this scenario looks pretty good at a first glance, I miss more space in the fishing area. There is nowhere to build a granary and cart pusher from the furthermost wharf didn´t make it to granary before the boat of that wharf returned with next cargo, not to mention his way back. I´m pretty sure that there is enough food for 5000 anyway, but I would prefer the other way. I advise you to redo that area, the scen would be much more enjoyable with more options.

Hi Prefect Marty, thanks for your comment.

I did rework the fishing a few times to get it the way I intended and spent a lot of time with the dock area to give you the game as it is.

I wanted to make the map challenging, hard to feed your people, trade carts having to cross a bridge along with price changes and goods requested by Caesar as well as enemies stopping buy for tea.

I took your comments and did update the map and tested the fishing, I would be more than happy to send you the updated map if you or anybody else would email me.

Eraserhead Another idea on the fishing area is to open it up near the furthermost wharf location so that there's space to connect it with bridges to the mainland. It gives players another option on how to approach fishing.

But I like the challenge as it is. I actually did some testing already on the fishing area and I think I found a nice solution using a couple of 2x2 small casas. I might play it, but I haven't gone back to the map yet as I'm currently doing a scenario myself.

I think a short description of the challenges of the scenario should do if you don't have a story to go with it.
Senseisan Finished it ( VH , 4x100 ratings ) whithout using all the possible warves ( and I had an excess of fish ). Remember that to reach 100 prosperity for 5000 inhabitants , you need only to feed 1600 patricians whith 3 foods , 3 warves can do the job .
Plebs need water , for food they are on their own ...
