My second Londinium and probably my best city so far. I am very pleased with it.
Everybody in 16 Luxury Palaces, 7 Medium Palaces and lots of small casas.
Victory comes at the end of the month with ratings 85/100/100/89.
If chosen to continue the game, the city will stabilize with around 14k people in about 3 years.
the city as in the time of the save is almost completely stable, as far as I watched, with the exceptions being a few houses in the southern side of the farming island and the 2 LP near the senate that will devolve and imediately evolve again 2, 3 or 4 times due to lack of oil depending on the level of dumbness of the market ladies. after that they stabilize (If I didnt miss anything). as the population grows about 2k after the victory, the culture rating will fall to around 70, but there are some spaces along the roads reserved to schools, oracles, teathers...
Only thing deleted, besides bits of the road to rome and trees was the timber export industry (4 lumberjacks) and part of the pottery industry (2 clay, 4 pottery), as I was very rich and needed the workers. I think this is the first city that I planned nearly well and didnt had to reestruturate any blocks...
Maybe I could build another palace block but that would recquire much more intervention managing the oil and wine stock. Another thing I could do was to use the single road design to the Palace block that I build using the loop-around-the-hypodrome design (tx for that one Brugle) and fit more palaces, maybe 12 or even 14, but again it would recquire managing the oil/wine stocks and would jeopardize the 7 Medium Palaces built togheter with the small casas. Also there was absolutely no need for it... Actually there was no need to build the 2nd block of palaces, but I always think 6 is too few and I like to get rich :D
Please, take a look and tell me what you think of it.
Thanks
