Caesar is extremely angry at you and has sent his legions to remove you from office. The people of Capua completely agree, the way you have treated them is beyond reproach, and they are leaving the city in packs. Last but not the least the Gods have given up on you and are threathening you with severe curses. Shame on you, how could you have let it come to this?
Well, it appears it wasn't you, but your evil stepbrother who gravely mismanaged the city while trying to fill his own pockets. Terrified by the sight of the attacking legions and the rioting citizens calling for his head he has fled the city, fortunately leaving behind the money. Unfortunately he has also left you with the mess, and neither the citizens, nor Caesar, nor the Gods will be ready to put their trust in you.
Can you turn things right in time to rescue Capua and turn it into the thriving city it was promising to become? I sincerely doubt it ....
This scenario was developed as a reaction to a fake scenario uploaded by Hakkannakah to this site with a virtually impossible mission based on the same premises as above. Similar to that one, this is based on the career map for Capua. That scenario has now been removed. Heaven Games has a policy of providing her audience with sound scenario's, and to make up on the fake one that slipped through the mazes we offer you this alternative. It is definitely not easy, but I have been able to succesfully finish the mission at hard difficulty without resorting to cheats.
Happy gaming!

It appears this scenario is downloaded substantially less frequently than other recent uploads. If you have some comment on why you do not like it (too difficult, too easy), please give some comment, or maybe you could even write a review.

I would be interested in your comment, seeing your review on Save Narbo, I doubt you will think this one to be really hard. I guess difficulty. like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder ;). |

hmmmm, dunno why, but can't do anything in this map. I tried every option I know (without using bugs/cheats or so-called features), and it seems impossible to me. Any hints? |

Missed your comment again, maybe it's better to post in the forum. Anyhow, you give me little information on what actually is holding you back in fixing the things that are wrong. If it is the invading army, don't get scared, they will not set forth their attack if you manage to get your kingdom rating up fast enough. You can do that by complying with requests and making gifts from your personal savings. Telling more would be a SPOILER I guess, maybe this already is. You can always send me a private mail (see my forum profile) if you want further hints.[Edited on 06/13/08 @ 12:05 PM]

As usual, I come back for unfinished business... this was one. Yes, it is winnable, but not on very hard. On very hard there was no way I could stop those legions. Weird... Anyway, nice scenario, it puts your skills to the test. I won't rate it, since after the first year there is no real challenge, but I am recommending it to anyone who wants to have a nice afternoon fun. Good job, joshofet, as usual. |
