"Caesar is away on business, however he has instructed that you are to
go to the region of Tarsus on our Eastern Frontier to build a city that
will demonstrate Roman superiority throughout the Land .The Carthigans
are no match for our legions and you are to destroy them completely
there destruction will ensure this region again comes under roman control.
Caesar has never been to Tarsus and veiws this as a simple mission for you
before your journey to the Barbaric Northern Regions.Due to the rising
costs of waging war oversea s he has left you only basic funds to establish
the city .However the city enjoys exellent trade routes ,also try to establish
trade routes with the Natives this mission will make you a very rich man Govener
i almost wish i was going there myself ."
" Oh as always expect some military activity, but i dont think there is much of
a threat in the area anyway.I must leave now have some important business to attend to
good luck with your mission "
After several weeks travel from Rome you reach the region of Tarsus as your approaching
the city , you are alerted to a roman messenger riding your way .He hands you a scroll with
the emporers seal , must be from caesar .
May I guess, one of the puters has the mapeditor installed, the other one not?
There is one file updated when you do, it was one of the .emp files if I recall correctly. It is needed for playing the homemade scens, so make sure you install the mapeditor if you want to play the scen as intended by the creator. Failing to do so will make most scens unplayable.

finished this in 23 AD - definitely a really hard map for me.
had to stop every single industry so to boost up a cultural hub to hit the ratings - my mess blocks were quite unstable to insulae so had to build up 2 clusters of grand villas (total 36 grand villas) to make up the prosperity requirement.
the invasions were nasty but a bunch of weirdly placed towers fended them off good. I think I had almost 30/35 towers in the end - but again moved them all out for the cultural hub. I think it's all due to the population requirement that is just bringing everything down together. I'm pretty sure I'll have a much easier time when I replay is and probably finish it much sooner. A lot of the times I'm just staring at my city not knowing what to do next.
The who eats what especially for the villa blocks are pretty important. Also had to place my pottery industry close to the weapons/marble cause of the same trader at the beginning. Struggled with the demand of pottery because I didnt import by sea - end of having to import potteries themselves - moving the industry closer to the ports mid game would have make it much easier but then it will take up precious cargo that imports food etc.
