Valentia is widely recognized as the city for luxury palaces, and this savegame boasts of my special dual-pumped 24-palace block. The term dual-pumped comes from the observation that one half of the markets that serve the block supply the fish; and the other half supply the wheat, veg and wine. This dual-pump concept is especially useful because the entire city is connected. Distance is the only thing stopping the market ladies from getting stuffs they aren't supposed to get.
impressive number of palace, but do feel curious about the starting of the city. as the long housing may not be working so fluently in the begining

Hi, Gard. I love your city very much. Could you explain how can distance effectively stop market buyer from getting unnecessary goods? I am curious about that.

Junior Caesar,
A market buyer will not go to a granary or warehouse if the N tile of the granary or warehouse is 40 or more tiles from the N tile of her market.
By the way, you will get answers to your questions sooner if they appear in the Game Help forum.
