I saw the other day an eagle falling from the sky. If the omens are right, I’ve not much life time left.
As my final decree, i want you - the new lead architect of the empire - to build a magnificent city after my name to commemorate the recent pacification of Hispania. I'll call this new region Gallaecia, and Bracara Augusta will shine as its new capital.
I have already laid down its foundations and, as a true Roman city, it must grow from its two central axes, beautified with gardens, statues and arches. The arches will be at municipal expense, for both money and construction materials.
Though you’re entrusted with a peaceful assignment, other governors don’t have such luck. You’ll be asked frequently to pacify the expansion of the empire. But, if I do remember the good deeds of a fair governance, please never turn your back to the people: they are ever envious and embittered souls ready to stick a knife in it… literally.
And that would be greatly unfortunate because the empire always needs a strong galley rower candidate as yourself.

UPDATE: There's now only a .svx file (Augustus save file) plus a brochure of ancient Braga (Bracara Augusta). Put the save file (Bracara Augusta.svx) on the main Caesar3 folder, and then load it as previous saved file.
If you need the .map file, please, subscribe Discord using the link: https://discord.gg/gamerzakh. There you'll find a very active community discussing Caesar 3 and other Impressions games.
CONTEXT: If you're interested on Bracara Augusta history, you might go here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Braga
TIPS: (Only to be used at the 6th attempt)
Hail governor! This is a very hard mission. A few tips below might help you to win a victory.
1) Plan your city carefully up to 10K population, and don't waste Denarii;
2) Build forts ASAP, being at least one rapid movement troop because local barbarians are tricky!
3) Rely on the gods by honoring them to secure your mission victory;
4) Your only available source of Denarii are taxation and exports income from the native traders, invest on it! |

Would it be possible for You to upload the .map file for this map, I would really like to play it on the original Caesar 3, I don't like to use Julius or Augustus mode. |

Gladly, i'll upload the .sav, the .svx and .map files. The .sav file is the .map file modified on its raw materials (do not producing wheat and producing meat/fish and marble) and trade route costs - 400 to 500, 600 to 750 and 800 to 1000.
Please, join the comunity on DISCORD: https://discord.gg/gamerzakh, or GITHUB: https://github.com/bvschaik/julius.[Edited on 01/12/21 @ 01:47 PM]

Thank you, I'll try to play a .sav file then, didn't know you have to make it a .sav file to change those settings, thought the editor provides you with that utility. |

Just finished this scenario. Very enjoyable and recommended. Hope there are more to come. |

Thank you, Romani for the review. More maps will come, certainly, but with a revamped editor when released. [Edited on 01/15/21 @ 07:00 AM]

Thank you Ardensul, did you subscribed Discord using the link above? I'll transfer the .map file to you once there.
My name on Discord is Viriathus, by the way. |
