The city is coming short on workers since food is running scarce. The market ladies are doing much more than my expectations. I haven't been able to surround the city with good walker coverage from the elevated farmland because of the single ramp. If I could fall back on forced walkers and only commit connecting a side road from there...
I try much more this time. As you can see, the side of patrician quarters with the forced walkers are doing fine while the opposed free roamer market traders I had been most optimistic about just wouldn't even serve half of their route.
However, there is also one other issue where the road with the forced walkers commonly lose bath-house access, so I might have finally reached the limits of walking distance.
I had high hopes for the new design, but I landed upon the same number of LP's when changing the hippodrome spot from last game.
