Hi! I have been downloading maps from this site for some time now and I recently made a map just for fun and thought of uploading it in here. The map is relatively easy is a big province with a lot of fertile land the invasions maybe big (I dont't know if I maybe have over done it with the roman troops) and a little micro intensive but other than that the map is very amicable, and I was able to complete it; english is not my first language so please sorry for grammatical or orthographic errors.
The years is 198 BC after the second Punic War the roman Senate is thinking in the possible new territorial additions to the Republic. You sign a pact with the roman consuls, accepting, for you and your people, the new status of "client state" of Rome, of your newly inherited kingdom just to avoid war.
So far things have been working nicely but suddenly you notice that the Republic is doing more and more unreasonable requests, rumor has it that the Senate is just finding excuses to declare war and annex your territory for them to personally control by appointing a new governor, your envoy in Roma tells you that they are willing to sacrifice some of the economic prosperity of the region with new tariffs and price changes just to wage economic war against you.
Both Consuls seem to be tied by hands and unable to to call off the senatorial offensive, so they play along with this charade.
Carthago has been recently defeated in the second Punic War but they are not happy about your new found "independency", expect some raids, it's not likely that they would openly invade a roman client state, at least not right now.
Will you be able to mantain control of your kingdom?
