This is the second scenario in a trilogy of northern, central and desert maps.
Once again there is a high population requirement on an enormous map.
Defences and military should be your priority early on. Find the meagre source of iron as soon as possible for export, to satisfy requests from Rome and in order to equip your legions.
There will be numerous native and enemy army attacks and frequent demands from Rome.
Pay attention to the road to Rome and ensure that it is open at all times!
The starting funds are very low.
Has anyone managed to get the first Triumph Arch?
The two iron hills hidden in the forest are a nice idea, although I didn't need them.

I did not beat the map yet, so I do not give a review (it would be positive right now).
I like the challenge.
Why I write here, is to answer trolgu's question.
I could get the first triumphal arche.
I sent one untrained javelin force, one single soldier survived the way to the threatened city (a local uprising occurs at the entrypoint where the soldiers left and kills them).
I could not believe that this one soldier made it.
So it is just one enemy unit that threatened the city.
Funny idea.

Now the map is beaten, I post my review.
Playability: 5
Everything works, there is nothing to complain about.
Playing the map spent some fun, it took several tries. Forced walker blocks help to use the concentrated farmland in a useful way.
Balance: 5
The scenario is very well balanced. The start is tough moneywise. The attacks can be handeled with some towers in some areas. The demands are sometimes huge, but not unfair. 18.000 people as a goal seems to be nearby the optimum concerning balance.
I won 44 months before the end (Vanilla Version, on very hard).

A good looking map, maybe some more small details here and there could have been added.

A recommandable map that is a nice challenge.
Thanks for having created it.
