C3TerrainExplorer is a tool written in Java to read a .map file and create a Excel spreadsheet showing the main features of the terrain such as rocks, water, trees, meadow, elevation, ramps and roads. Also the spreadsheet will show people entry and exit points, river entry/exit, invasion points and where a 2x2 house will form.
Once you download the zip file, unzipped it somewhere and launch the tool in a command window as follows:
java -jar C3TerrainExplorer.jar
Update v1.1: I added a file 'config.properties' where you can set the location of your .map files and the output path for the spreadsheet. Please select the option Help->Help in the UI for details.
When you unzip the downloaded file you would get two files: C3TerrainExplorer.jar and config.properties. Keep them together in the same directory when using the application. Thanks.
Update v1.2: Added symbol for Native building/field (it was shown as ??, unknown tile, in previous version).
