This is my 1st city and by no means perfected. There are many wolves near the entrance and a local tribe guards the farmland. It is set over a period of 210 years during which there are many attacks on the city. You may find wine trading to be a lucrative business as the scenario goes on. To complete the scenario you must achieve 5000 population, 40 culture, 15 prosperity, 2 peace, and 90 favour. You start with 5000 denarai (which will soon be depleted, but you will recieve a generous loan from Caesar). No events will occur after the first 210 years.
Other Constraints - Population: 5000 Time to Survive: 210 Years Time to Defeat: 210
I think anyone loading up a game called "City of Rage" is going to expect a real hotbed of military activity. This is not the case in SAm's Lindum. Although the map offers some interesting city-building problems, by and large this is a haphazardly constructed scenario. A glance at the win conditions, for example, tells you that the only possible problem is getting a 90 Favor rating from Caesar. Hmmm... with only four requests and no distant battles over 210 years, how exactly are we supposed to do that? The first request gives you "0" years to respond. (Since the computer interprets this as "no" years to respond, you effectively have 210 years to complete the first request.) The few attacks which do occur don't even begin for 40 years...
I'm afraid that the only rage I experienced in this Lindum was at the designer's lack of thoughtful effort.
