I've also included a saved game file with a population of around 25K, and an Excel spreadsheet with the intended layout for the map. I had to stop building around the point where I saved the game because I've hit the sprite limit and started getting some weird events happening (vanishing legionaires, ghost cart pushers and so on).
Wow! I've never seen anything like it! This was a very entertaining map to play. Although the map was considerably easy to finish, it was still a lot of fun. I don't think that the intention of this map was to be difficult, I think that it was made for the same purpose that is shown in the .sav file that comes with it. It is perfectly laid out for any easy evolvement into Luxury Palaces.
There are patches of farmland that precisely fit 6 farms each. There are rocks all around with a gap in the middle. You can surely put roads in there, but it is made for aqueducts. The river runs at the bottom of the map and is completely flat. This makes it very easy to build docks and wharves. If you like to have palaces, but don't like to kill your brain cells trying to figure out what the best way to build roads is and which building goes where, then I greatly encourage you to try this scenario. It is fun to play over and over again.
