After I finished the campaign I craved for some casual C3 gaming. I never played the construction kit cities before and what better way to start than a peaceful non-military mission. Until I noticed that there were no gatehouses present. So much for casual gaming but at least I built my first large city without gatehouses that includes a villa block and plebs in grand insulae.
I ran the city for 6 years and a couple of hick-ups during the first years but nothing too severe. Soon after that aging will set in and Industry must be shut down starting with marble. Olive oil should also be imported.
And for some reason people are really happy in this city when conditions are right. It's funny hearing the librarian giving full marks for a change.
For full mark comments, the city's food stock has to be at least 4 months. Sometimes your food stock drops below that, and sometimes some houses devolved and entertainment or education issues resurface.
