I'm new to the Caesar series, so please forgive me for asking a silly question.
I'm playing a sandbox scenario with the goal of obtaining 1,000,000 people. I currently have 3,200 people. Half of all fertile land on the rather large map is already used up by grain and vegetable farms. So I estimate I have room for 6,400 people. How do I feed the remaining 993,600!?

It's impossible.
You're not supposed to be able to reach a population of 1,000,000

Ahh, so I should think in terms of ~10,000 citizens being a max or very large city?

Well, yeah. 15k even. It depends on how much farmland you have plus the size of the map. I think the record was a population of 100-150k people on a custom map, maybe more I'm not sure.
