Ancient Cities is a colony builder game. And it's a very great game concept indeed! In all kinds of survival builders, we build our colony from absolutely nothing. We build empires and medeival towns from that - but for the first time, we are going to do this right. We are going to build humanity's first settlement, the very first try to settle down to the land, with out the protection of caves and forests. That makes this same game mechanism makes a lot more sense. And during your game progress, human culture grows with your settlement. You'll discover religion and knowledge, invent tools and weapons. Finally your small village will became the heart of an ancient civilization. Check the video, and you'll see those cube-ish mediterranean style houses, stacks together to create that unique view. It was the first time in the citybuilder game history, that we can have this combined house structure with vertical and angled link! And I believe it's not just me that have waited too long to see this in a game! This one makes me super excited, I'm very looking forward to it. And judging by the trailer, it has great music too!
