dead again

VisMaior (Brian M, From Music City Mafia) beaten to death by an angry, yet bored group of villagers, Day 1
Fiindil (Lisa Simpson, From Simpsons Mafia) put down like an old sick dog, Night 1

Darthbane (Townie from Shipwrecked Mafia) lynched, or something
Nonchalance (Death from Family Guy Mafia) died (?) from an overdose of holy water, Night 2
Watchwood (Paranoid Townie from Vannila City Mafia) died from a self-administered Touch of Death, Night 2
theferret (Jose J from the Music City Cafe) lynched out of boredom, Day 3
debbie (The Serial Killer from Shipwrecked Mafia) heart stopped, Night 3

CURRENT TIME: NIGHT 3.

My rules:

- I use a "Dawn" phase to finish night and give me some time to write the
night scene, and send investigation results. No posting, night talking or night actions allowed. It's short, don't worry.
- I use a "Dusk" phase to finish day and give me some time to write the lynch
scene. No posting, night talking or night actions allowed. It's short, don't
worry.
- If I made a mistake, or if you didn't get an email, or if something
bounced or if you have a question about your role, tell me about it by email,
out of thread, not to disrupt game.
- You may change your nigth action once, but no guarantees.

- Nearly all roles have been taken from previous mafia games. One way to get
more information about the powers of your player is to check out his original
game.

Bill was always a little paranoid. Then he was killed. Then he was brought back to life.

Now he's very paranoid.

Everyday, he suits up with his bulletproof vest, his bulletproof sunglasses, his bulletproof bicycle helmet and his bulletproof knee pads. Everyday, he carries several firearms on his person, including a sawed off shotgun and a live hand grenade. He always carries a belt full of medicines and bandages. He is protected against everything. Everything, that is except death itself.

And unfortunately for Bill, that was exactly what was headed his way.

"Hey Bill."
"W-what? Who are you?"
"I'm Death."
"What?"
"I said I'm Death."
"Who?"
"I'm Death. You know, the Angel Of Death?"
"Hmm. Like from Family Guy?"
"mmm... I guess. But-"
"Shit."
"Shit is right. How would you like to die, Bill?"

While Death continued to play with his apparently terrified victim, Bill was actually fishing through the paranormal section of his belt. Bibles... crosses... garlic... nope. Ahh, there it was. Holy water. In a squirt gun.

"Hey Death, one question, before I die."
"Shoot."
"Okay."

And Bill shot him. The water burned all the way through Death. He screamed for what seemed to be an eternity, until his body fell to the earth.

Bill was okay. That is, until he tried to move Death's body, and in the process brushed against his hand.

Watchwood (Paranoid Townie from Vannila City Mafia) has died from a self-administered Touch of Death.
Nonchalance (Death from Family Guy Mafia) has died (or at least been banished from this world or something?)from an overdose of holy water.

IT IS NOW DAY. 6 ALIVE MEANS 4 TO LYNCH.

Yay, I think... Is/was death an SK? I think so, but I can't remember for sure. Six alive, no scum dead yet. Hmmm... I think we're in trouble here.

What are you on about Ovi? "Death from Family GUy Mafia" and the fact he was trying to kill WW seems to suggest scum to me!

The only thing we have to ask is was Non a SK, or a mafioso? Id assume from the death scene that he would be the former. ANy thoughts?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!! OK!! Sorry, slower than usual today. Uhhh, actually no, what are you talking about?? I said I thought Death (ok, in my post I didn't capitalise it) was SK, or possibly scum. So your second paragraph basically says what I had just said. Why does the fact that Watchwood was targeted mean anything? Am I missing something, again?

On another note, we once again have only one night kill... Perhaps scum and SK are allowed to kill on alternate nights only? Or, what if the scum are in fact a type of SK mason group? SKs kill on alternate nights, but they know who each other are... Just a thought. I think it's also pretty clear that whoever killed Fiindil was not Death (why use a needle, when you can just touch the person?).

didn't we have two night kills last night? ww and non both died.

Quoted from watchwood:

Eat it Non! The woodster strikes again!

An after death post. From that comment I am assuming that watchwood meant to kill non. Best case scenario is that watchwood was mafia and the serial killer (what else would "death" be?) and a mafia member took each other out. A most pleasing night for the town.

Vote Weave because he (deliberately?) miscounted the votes yesterday and stated Darth was two away from a lynch when he was only one.

Why do I always get blamed when Weave shows up dead?

Watchwood (Paranoid Townie from Vannila City Mafia)

According to this I think that Watchwood wasn't attacking Non. If I remember right, a paranoid townie kills whoever kills him, but does not kill on his onw.

Quoted from Ovidius:

That could be the case, it sure does explain why there was only one kill this night and the previous night.

Quoted from Debbie:

Vote Weave because he (deliberately?) miscounted the votes yesterday and stated Darth was two away from a lynch when he was only one.

OK, Debbie, you have a point there. At least I did believe his count untill I saw that Darth was lynched after only one extra vote was casted..

sorry Ovi, yeah you;re right, i didnt read the first bit of your post, so mine actually was a repeat of yours.

As to my mistake re vote count yesterday, it was just that, an error. I didnt realise Debbie had voted for DB right at the tope of the page, i thought people had just sort of jumped on him. There were 3 votes in a row as i recall.

My guess for WW death would be that he was jsut someone who killed whoever attacked him? His role was paranoid townie, which could back that up.

Then again he did post that first comment, which would seem to suggest that he had some sort of role in killing Non other than just waiting to be killed.

He's clearly pro-town though, otherwise you couldnt call him a townie.

Quoted from Vanilla City Mafia:

New role: Paranoid Townie
Plain townie, but carries a gun. If killed at night, or lynched, one of the attackers/lynchers will be killed in return. A little eye-for-an-eye protection.

I think everyone in this game has the exact same powers as their character did in the previous game.

Death I believe was just plan scum (ie. in the Mafia) in the Family Guy game (Ovi, you were scum that game, am I right?)

This means that we have hit one of the Mafia and there is no SK from what I gather.

Wahoo!

But then why did Darth claim what he did? I cant think of a reason to do so unless he wanted to draw fire and protection to himself, which seems a rather WIFOM strategy.

Also, why does Death have a "has died(?)" next to him. Is this just because non was DEATH, or does it mean he could come back to life?

Can Death die? That's my interpretation of the question mark.

Family Guy Mafia is so far in the past... have to do some research... In fact, Family Guy Mafia, was won by myself and Ray, and was Ray's first game. Ray was Death... ordinary scum. So yip, probably just scum in this game. A goodish night then.

I think the (?) is because the whole concept of Death dying needs a (?).

ANyway if Non was scum, that means we should have one or two left and the game is still winnable. I'm inclined to think there's one more because 3 scum in an 11 player game seems too many.

This is something that scum would do in a game like this, trying to lay low. Even if all players aren't talking that much. But at least everyone else is trying to play, even with the little info we have right now.

This is incredibly tedious. If we're going to carry on, people need to participate... We're either playing or we're not. I wouldn't blame Hobo if he decided to call it quits. Since there's been no discussion, there's no info, so we go on the lurker hunt... although at this rate, it's like shooting a herd of elephants in a zoo with a double barrel shot-gun.
