Well, if he were Sk would he not know inherently the type of restriction he has? If he is Sk I assume that the percent based approach is not correct. Instead his failed kill would have come to him as a surprise, too. That means Debbie was either protected or has some nightkill immunity (and as such, has lied and is scum).
OTOH I must say that your case against theferret seams rational.

I've modded games where pro-town players had nightkill immunity. Often it was limited to just one night, but still...

The point is that he never ever posted, so he is not so much lurking, instead he seems to be completely absent. An easy excuse to jump on him. But I think lurking is only harmful if the person is actually playing, otherwise a prod should do first.
