Peaceville...
Population 18 (or so it seems – our soap opera doesn’t feature non-core characters too often).

On the surface, Peaceville is, well, peaceful. But the veneer of civilisation is cracked and peeling. Things aren’t always what they seem. Prepare for power struggles, lust, betrayal, love triangles, intrigue, hospitals and doctors and DNA tests and pills, mad(wo)men and basements, brain implants, brain tumours, hospitals, leukemia, hospitals, policemen and their longsuffering wives, hospitals, princesses, long-lost twin siblings, mothers-in-law from hell, burnt out car wrecks with charred bodies, clearly recognizable by their inscribed rings, blurred generations where the ages of people, their half-siblings, their children, their grandchildren are separated by ten years, serial brides and grooms, and did we mention hospitals?

Still covered in suds...(1):
Celt in Exile

All washed up...
Bobby Ewfield, aka Bengel, blown to smithereens, Night 0.
Gracie Keller, aka Supa Psyche, mason, became a human pincushion, Day 1.
Sister Rose Aimes, aka CenturionZ_1, nurse, killed in a hit-and-run 'accident', Night 1.
Father Patrick O'Reilly, aka Sergius Laudius, day cop, gunned down at the chapel, Night 1.
Sheila Davids, aka Nonchalant, madwoman, killed in a shoot-out with police, Night 1.
Dr Jason Melville, aka Street Hobo, doc, driven out of Peaceville, Day 2.
Bobby Ewfield, aka Bengel, dreamer townie, blown to smithereens again, Night 2.
Heather Templeton, aka Starkey, self-recruiting mafia member, unplugged from life support, Night 2.
Lizzy Tylah, aka Watchwood, mason, smoked one too many, Day 3.
Viktor Malado, aka Rayotep, crazy scientist, has been eliminated, Night 3.
Dot Weatherly, aka VisMaior, scum matriarch, has gotten her come-uppance, Night 3.
Timber Masterson, aka Sul, scum son, has died almost unnoticed of a wasting disease, Day 4.
David Scott, aka Debbie, townie, killed by shooting and hit-and-run, Night 4.
Maximillian Weatherly, aka Reckless Rodent, scum patriarch, has splattered very publicly, Day 5
Brady Beauman, aka Darth, cop, has followed in his father's footsteps, to his grave, Night 5.
Cliff Masterson, aka Niempie, scum patriarch, has been shot, Night 5.
Steve Scott, aka Debbie, one-shot vigilanted lynched, Day 6.
Daisy Masterson, aka Weave, scum matriarch, killed in head-on collision, Night 6.
Resin Weatherly, aka Kedi, scum son, killed in head-on collision, Night 6.

GAME OVER: TOWN WINS.

vote ovidius!

I mean, I dont have a clue what to do. It's a bit risky to lynch ray, but at the same time, how pro-town can his power really be? Especially if you consider how he's been playing.

The game has sort of stalled, so what we really need is a lynch of some sort merely to move the game along. However, that's not a reason to just kill the first person we think of!

Darth - 1 (Vis)
Sul - 1 (Debbie)
Vis - 1 (Ray)

Not voting: 4 (Niempie, Sul, Watchwood, Weave)

Six to lynch...

Vote: Ray

At this point I think that he is the best choice.
I still don't think that his ability is pro-town. Vote-control seems very anti-town to me.

I don't think it either pro- or anti-town, but just an ability. Depends on how I use it.

I don't remember who asked, but . . . I win with the town.

I'm not entirely sure I can buy what you're saying Ray. It doesn't seem to add up, as Debbies reply isn't really in line with what I saw, which was her going to a ritz, and coming out looking like she's in an affair. I think the message would have been different if her action that night was the result a mind control of some sort.

Uh . . . okay ?!?

Quoted from Debbie, post 100:

I had to wait to get home to check my email (can't access my AOL account at work) to refresh my memory if it was okay that I talk about what happened to me yesterday and that I had no emails waiting for me with new info. even though I did pass along my work email address to him, better safe than sorry.....

I got an email from Ovidius saying I was walking along and suddenly got an urge to kill somebody, anybody. I had to change my vote to Supra (I presumed since he had the most votes at the time) and keep it on him all day one or else risk being modkilled. I got a second email (sent just a few minutes later from Ovidius) saying I could not mention that email from him until day two, I could speak of my "urge" but not that he sent me an email ordering me to do it. Day two now so I guess I'm safe.....from being modkilled

I have no idea if my changing my vote was Ovidius's idea or somebody emailed him asking him to do it. I would assume the latter, but who it was I have no idea.

It doesn't matter anyway. I have four votes on me and time is running out. With by far the most votes, there doesn't seem to be much doubt that I'll be lynched regardless.

I was not anywhere that I know of, besides home in bed asleep. watchwood is either making that up or he can't watch anybody. I had no mind control on me that night, the only thing I had to do was change my vote that day.

Ray had not been feeling well of late and went to see the doctor about it. The doctor was stumped as to what was wrong with him and so he referred him to a specialist. The specialist did as specialists do and had a myriad of tests performed on Ray. The results all pointed to one thing: Ray was going to die, soon, but slowly and painfully. Coincidentally, 68 year old Lizzy Tylah, who had been in and out of hospital for the past four years and single-handedly generated the salaries of more than one orderly at Peaceville General Hospital, had had the same bunch of tests done. Much to her surprise and her specialist's consternation, every test came back clear: she had a bit of flu, but otherwise, she could expect to live many more years.

Ray lay in the hospital, his condition worsening, until friends began popping in to see him. With each visit, he seemed to improve. In contrast, after she arrived back home from the doctor, pulled up her stool to the front fence, lit up a long-neglected ciggy and took a long, deep puff, Lizzy gasped her last breath. It'd seem that even computerised administration systems are not perfect...

Lizzy Tylah, aka Watchwood, mason, is dead.

It is now Night 3. Night actions to be sent in by Wednesday 17h00 GMT.

Viktor Malado was discharged soon after making a full recovery. He had been thinking up a storm while he was recovering. He was sure that he had finally come up with a solution to the problem of the brain control chip. He knew that extraction of the chip carried a risk of death for the subject, but he was now sure that a few tweaks here and there would solve that problem and pave the way for him to control Peaceville. Pity he talked so much in his sleep... his evil plan to sieze control of Peaceville was overheard and the news rapidly came to the attention of a particular family who had similar intentions. Viktor unlocked his front door and swung it open. He had just enough time to see a silhouette standing with a gun before a single bullet ended his ambitions.

Viktor Malado, aka Rayotep, evil scientist, has been eliminated.

Viktor's assassin stepped up to his lifeless body, knelt beside him and felt for a pulse... nothing. Excellent! Dot Weatherly was not keen on complications. She dragged the body quickly into the house, closed the door and disappeared into the shadows... only to reappear after a couple minutes having discarded her black catsuit and hood. The clicking of her stilettos as she crossed the street echoed eerily in the night. Behind her, a sleek black car she thought empty suddenly revved its engine and switched on its headlights. Dot was the proverbial deer in the headlights and was launched thirty metres down the street, snapping her neck as she hit the ground. The car screeched off, leaving only some burnt rubber behind. When the autopsy was performed, a small incision on the back of her head was located, although its origin was unclear.

Dot Weatherly, aka VisMaior, matriarch of the Weatherly clan, scum, is dead.

It is now Day 4. Eight alive means five to lynch.

Congrats again Ovidius

Where to go from here? If Rayo hadn't stated that he was scum, I would have my doubts with just the description of "evil scientist" but now I'm assuming he was the serial killer in the game. Taking out the scum matriarch was good, but I think there are at least two scum left. I am also assuming that a vigilante took her out. I do think the cop is still around (only day cop being listed as dead whereas there is a nurse (back up doc?) and a doc listed in the dead list. I have my suspicions who the scum are, but nothing solid.

Exceptional night for the town.

I WOULDN'T have had doubts at the tag "evil scientist", I havent played in any games where the word evil could be a good thing, but maybe im too trusting.

Ok, so that makes 4 scum dead now, two last night, the madwoman one and StarKey.

So, yeah, 1 or 2 more mafia would make sense in a game of this size. I would assume that would be the member(s) of the "Weatherly Clan".

As for a target, Ive got a fairly good idea.

vote Reck

since it has been 45 days since he has made a post of more than a line long. That's a pretty long time. Added to the fact that he just slammed in that killer vote on WW without even giving him a chance to explain himself.

Yes it was certainly a good night for the town.
We lost two evil players and that is always good for us.

And I also think that there is still a cop around, but since he hasn't claimed already I think that he only has investigations on innocent people.

So unless we are about to lynch a investigated innocent person the cop should stay low.
