Peaceville...
Population 18 (or so it seems – our soap opera doesn’t feature non-core characters too often).

On the surface, Peaceville is, well, peaceful. But the veneer of civilisation is cracked and peeling. Things aren’t always what they seem. Prepare for power struggles, lust, betrayal, love triangles, intrigue, hospitals and doctors and DNA tests and pills, mad(wo)men and basements, brain implants, brain tumours, hospitals, leukemia, hospitals, policemen and their longsuffering wives, hospitals, princesses, long-lost twin siblings, mothers-in-law from hell, burnt out car wrecks with charred bodies, clearly recognizable by their inscribed rings, blurred generations where the ages of people, their half-siblings, their children, their grandchildren are separated by ten years, serial brides and grooms, and did we mention hospitals?

Still covered in suds...(1):
Celt in Exile

All washed up...
Bobby Ewfield, aka Bengel, blown to smithereens, Night 0.
Gracie Keller, aka Supa Psyche, mason, became a human pincushion, Day 1.
Sister Rose Aimes, aka CenturionZ_1, nurse, killed in a hit-and-run 'accident', Night 1.
Father Patrick O'Reilly, aka Sergius Laudius, day cop, gunned down at the chapel, Night 1.
Sheila Davids, aka Nonchalant, madwoman, killed in a shoot-out with police, Night 1.
Dr Jason Melville, aka Street Hobo, doc, driven out of Peaceville, Day 2.
Bobby Ewfield, aka Bengel, dreamer townie, blown to smithereens again, Night 2.
Heather Templeton, aka Starkey, self-recruiting mafia member, unplugged from life support, Night 2.
Lizzy Tylah, aka Watchwood, mason, smoked one too many, Day 3.
Viktor Malado, aka Rayotep, crazy scientist, has been eliminated, Night 3.
Dot Weatherly, aka VisMaior, scum matriarch, has gotten her come-uppance, Night 3.
Timber Masterson, aka Sul, scum son, has died almost unnoticed of a wasting disease, Day 4.
David Scott, aka Debbie, townie, killed by shooting and hit-and-run, Night 4.
Maximillian Weatherly, aka Reckless Rodent, scum patriarch, has splattered very publicly, Day 5
Brady Beauman, aka Darth, cop, has followed in his father's footsteps, to his grave, Night 5.
Cliff Masterson, aka Niempie, scum patriarch, has been shot, Night 5.
Steve Scott, aka Debbie, one-shot vigilanted lynched, Day 6.
Daisy Masterson, aka Weave, scum matriarch, killed in head-on collision, Night 6.
Resin Weatherly, aka Kedi, scum son, killed in head-on collision, Night 6.

GAME OVER: TOWN WINS.

Ok, I decided to vote for the lurker right now.

Vote: Sul

OK, she said she was ill (and at this moment I know how it feels when you are ill), but she also said that she would catch up and after that post, we haven't heard anything form her.

Why do you think there are 3 scum Debs? I thought before you said you thought there were two?

Also, may I ask...where is everyone in this game? Kedi and Darth have been quiet since the start of this day. Maybe it was a long weekend?

I'm inclined to agree with Reck being scum. I don't agree with CIE being scum though. And it's been a very long weekend

I think three because of the size of the game when it started. However, now that you mention it, Starkey was a self recruiting mafia member who I assume would become mafia if he found them. 4+1 mafia would make the game unbalanced, so two then.

Quoted from darth:

I don't agree with CIE being scum though

why are you so sure that he is not? You two could just as easily be the final two scum, covering for each other. If you are the cop and know something, now's the time to let us all in on it.

and Peter, I really do think you are scum, have from the beginning.

Well Weave, I guess I've only made 2 posts since Day 4 dawned, which doesn't seem much quieter than most, but as I voted, I didn't really have anything else to contribute. I don't know Reck's playing style like you guys do, so I can't say whether he's being un-Recky or not. So I picked the lurker.
Debbie, I can't really follow your reasoning on choosing Reck, Niempie and CIE as scum - what were the quotes intended to point out? I missed it.

Smile!

So, because I decided to vote (again) for Sul, because she still is lurking, and two other players decided to do this after me, I'm scum??!??

In my opinion, the two others are more likely to be scum, because they had made comment about Sul not posting and waited for someone else to vote for her, before they put there vote on her too.

I agree with you that the town is doomed if Sul is lynched AND turns out to be pro-town. But if she is anti-town, I think that the town isn't doomed at all.

I dont know.

CIE said yesterday (game wise) that he ddnt favour lurker hunts because more often than not, the player is a townie or something and not interested n the game.

Then he jumps on this bandwagon. Why did you change your mind? If you can give me a reason why your suspicions on Sul have changed to allow you to vote for her, I'll gladly consider switching votes. As long as it's credible mind!

This game is going really slowly. I dont know why.

The main reasons are:-
I would rather beat players who are active
I would rather lose to players who are active
Sul has been active on OD and seems to have lost interest in this game
I believe she has had long enough to surface and has failed to do so
I have no clue as to her role, but with her lack of participation, that is no surprise

Timber Masterson, despite being the heir of the immense Masterson fortune and being expected to lead the family's huge multinational conglomerate into the second half of the 21st century, was really quite shy. He never seemed to emerge from his family's house up on the hill. So when he fell deathly ill with a mysterious wasting disease, there were few who remembered to visit him in his private room in the Peaceville General Hospital. So he died alone, mourned only by his parents, while the townsfolk muttered amongst each other, arguing whether or not he deserved to have died in such a way...

Timber Masterson, aka Sul, scum, has succumbed, almost unnoticed, to a wasting disease.

It is now Night 4. Deadline for nightactions is 17h00 GMT, Sunday 12 February.

David Scott was walking home from his favourite haunt, having had a couple of beers (too many) to help him unwind. After the day he had had, it was the perfect remedy and he was in a considerably better mood and was finding it considerably more difficult to walk than had been the case when he walked into the bar. His sluggish synapses didn't even register the soft sound of the bullet shot from the silencer-equipped pistol as he crossed the street. He collapsed to the ground, dead. A few seconds later, a sleek black car switched on its headlights and ran over the body of the collapsed drunk. The driver obviously didn't realise that he hadn't passed out...

David Scott, aka Debbie, townie, has been killed... twice.

Speaking of twice, two, double, twin... David Scott's twin brother from out of town attended the funeral. Nobody knew that he had siblings, let alone a twin brother. He really took a liking to Peaceville and has decided to move to town. Steve Scott, aka Debbie, has moved to Peaceville.

It is now Day 5. Seven alive means four to lynch.

So you did, well done.
Can we take it for granted that Debbie's reincarnation will also be a townie role?
I also am slightly uneasy with Niempie's 'I voted Sul first, so I am good. It's the ones after me that must be bad'.
A very quick attempt to divert suspicion away from herself?

Following on from my previous post, yes. I am the cop. Last night I investigated Reck, caught him going back to his home... the weatherly mansion. And he was carrying a gun.

If we lynch him today, we'll be left with just one scum. Now, that person (serial killer, I'd imagine) will probably go for me tonight, so mass roleclaim? We can win this, with 4 town to 1 scum, as long as we lynch correctly tomorrow.
