I have the Pharaoh/Cleo game.
I have been trying to reset the map but all it does is wipe the map clean, no cities just blank map.
Can't figure out how to get the map to show all cities.
Any clue?

I've played and edited maps with GOG's version on xp, win7, win8 and win10, haven't faced this problem yet. (can only access xp and win10 anymore though.)
Idk what the cause is. but I hope someone else can figure it out.

bradf69,
I haven't been able to figure out how to prevent the problem, and don't have time to investigate further right now.

An observation I made: When I use the "reset" button, then use "add object", the cities appear with trade items and route numbers already assigned. However, If I use "delete object" on each city, and then "delete route" on each route, the cities come back with no trade items and 0 for route number. I suspect that "reset" just removes the city icons from the map, but the data for trade items and routes is still there.
I ran in to this problem while making a custom map. I used the "reset" button, then placed the cities and routes I wanted. The game insisted I had four food types available, but I carefully checked each city, and only showed three food types. I suspect the game thinks there is a city, not showing on the map, that has a fourth food type.
