The map editor is built into the game and even has a manual (text document).

I don't have it in my Main Menu, the manual is there in the gamedir though

Greetings
I open it up and then it says that the Pharaoh folder could not be found.
Then i put it inside the game dir, it says the same thing again, but then there's an installation guide...
I select where to install it (In the pharaoh folder/game dir), then It says:
"The File D:\blah\Pharaoh\Pharaoh.exe is not a valid previous version and could not be upgraded"
I don't know which version do i have

If you don't know which version you have, load the game and load any save. Then go to the Help menu at the top and select About, it should tell you what version you have. You need at least 1.2 to get the Mission Editor, it's not available pre-1.2.
Do you have the GOG.com version of Pharaoh by any chance?

Uberwire,
The enhancement packs stored in our Downloads are only for Pharaoh published by Sierra, and won't work for any others. I doubt that you can find an enhancement pack (either version 1.1 or version 1.2) that would work with your Pharaoh. (By the way, your Pharaoh seems to be of dubious legality, at least in the US.)
My suggestion is to buy Pharaoh/Cleopatra from GOG.com. (GOG.com frequently has some games on sale, often for at least half off. Now and then that includes Pharaoh/Cleopatra.)

Thank you all for the useful infos, I'm not going to buy it or anything and It's pretty obvious that there is no other way, so yeah, thanks...
