First of all - hands down for keeping this forum alive! Every now and then, when I feel to play this game I sometimes browse through the topics and I'm always surprised and impressed (and happy) that there are still people who are interested in this game =)
Now, in the download section I found numerous files from "nero would". These are excel sheets with topviews of the campaign maps. I already found two posts where "Nero Would" explained that he had uploaded them but somehow I haven't still figured out what to do with them or what their use is
Does anyone have further information on that ?
Have a nice day =)

Hello canopus91, welcome to Pharaoh Heaven.
The non-spoiler maps show things that can be observed at the start of a mission simply by looking around. They might help a player find some things (such as ore deposits or small patches of meadow) which could be overlooked. Some players might find it easier to design a city using the Excel maps.
The spoiler maps reveal a lot more things. Some things could found out with a modest effort, such as the entry and exit points, while others would be essentially impossible to figure out, such as the full details of all events. (For a city or two I used Nero Would's spoiler map to tell me where a square of four 1x1 houses at the same level would merge into a 2x2 house, but my last city, Bubastis, was designed without knowing any spoiler information.)
If this isn't the sort of information you want, please let us know.

Thank you very much for your answer! =)
This was the answer I was looking for I just clicked through some excel files and I noticed that some of the maps have quite different orientations (north, south,...). For example there was a map that was shaped like this:
As you can see the streets on the map are horizontal - I already tried to create a similar map with the editor but I didn't find an option to alter the alignment. Is it possible to create a map with the same alignment in the editor? Oh and besides, does anyone one how Nero Would was able to create this excel sheets ?
I wish they would produce another egyptian city building game, especially one with better modding/editing tools Children of the nile was fine but somehow I still prefer Pharao/Queen of the Nile.

As far as I know, the alignment of city maps (at the start of the mission) are all the same (north is up), and the alignment of Nero Would's Excel sheets are all the same (north is up-left).

No.
