I have a question about bazaars, I can never seem to get mine to do any kind of real coverage. For example I've just started Rosta Ja, and have just a small corner or L shape of 600 people, and their amenities, but people just a few houses from the bazaar apparently scavange for food. I have roadblocks at either end, this happens in every level.
Any thoughts?

Mummified God,
Since this thread is about housing block designs, you question should not be here. If you have more information about your problem, either create a new thread or find an existing one where it would fit. However, I'll try to answer your question here.
Houses store a lot of food, so when initially supplying houses with food (which causes them to evolve and attract more immigrants) they take a lot more food than they will later. Perhaps, if you wait a while, the rest of the houses that you want to supply will gradually get food.
However, if you think the problem is permanent, then find the cause. If the bazaar usually has food but some houses don't get it, then the bazaar trader isn't going by those houses, so you may need to change the roads or build another bazaar to serve those houses. If the bazaar often is out of food but nearby granaries (or storage yards if the food is imported) have plenty, then the bazaar buyer can't get the food fast enough and you need to move the granary (or...) closer or build more bazaars. If nearby granaries (or...) are often out of food then you don't produce (or import) enough food.
If that doesn't help, then please respond (although not in this thread).

Sorry but I thought it was related because it was about housing blocks, i.e., I'm doing them wrong. I'm not new to forums and like to think I have good netiquette but if you disagree then apologies for my post.
Thanks for your help on the matter, but I don't think that solves it because now on Bahayrani Oasis or whatever it is called a house literally opposite my bazaar has no food whilst the bazaar is stocked.

Mummified God,
Neither of your posts here were about housing block designs. If you post another message in this thread that is not about housing block designs, I will not answer it.
You can send a saved game to the address in my profile, mentioning Pharaoh in the email address.

Just as a way of using evil rhetoric:
I love to use the classic Senet'Er block for my elite housing, which has all the houses inside.
Nobody dares to call Senet'Er a bad player, right?
