So I recently got this game because years after the fact I learned my favorite citybuilding developer, Impressions, made the Caesar series, having had Pharaoh, Zeus, and RotMK in my library for ages.
And just like the other three games, I love it. Classic Impressions citybuilder.
But the one thing that I absolutely HATE with a burning passion (pun possibly intended) is how quickly fire risk rises for buildings compared to in the other games, even in not-desert maps. It's beyond absurd. And it seems like the fire-fighting sprites have a much shorter range (I haven't confirmed it, it's just suspicion at this point), because I'm building prefectures in spots I think give appropriate coverage based on how fire fighting works in the other 3 games, and yet sure enough I'm constantly battling fires. I can't even get a small settlement built up before something catches, and if I concentrate on getting fire coverage over anything else first, I inevitably end up pissing off the gods, who burn my city down and cause riots anyway.
PLEASE tell me there's some sort of config file I can edit to decrease the rate at which fire risk increases.
