I finally beat that Cyrenaica scenario. For those of you who are actually interested in how I did it, please read on... Basically, I was able to evolve some villas to "grand villas" by giving them fruit, but that wasn't enough. My prosperity reached 69 I had *lots* of reloads, and I was still tweaking wages every other month. I spent the next year increasing culture (up to 68), with a shortage of about 200 employees. I scrapped as many things as I possibly could. I then sent Caesar a large gift, since my Favor was at 94. It put it over the top. I ended up with these ratings: This city is definitely not sustainable in the long run (or even the short run, come to think of it But I finished I won't be trying the second version. This was hard enough, believe me (I had fun, though). I need a change, something relaxing...
Hard to believe, but I'm there.
Culture 68
