Hey Peoples! I have been wanting...for an EXTREMELY Long time to start my own storyline. I know because I am so...*loved* (So Humble, and Modest, am i not?) here, that this thing may not make it off the ground...butcha know what? thats okay because atleast I tried....ehhhh right? Trying and losing IS better then not trying at all...right? I dont know...but here, I'll give it a go...

***
Titanicus walked down a lonely road leading away from his home. He was heading to another City on the same Island, to preform for a panel of Judges. If he did good, he could get accepted into an enormous and very popular Theatre...the most popular Theatre in all of the Isles of Celtia. If he were to be moving to that Island, (the small Island off the Isle of Celtia, but still under its Rule) which was called Caitríona, he would get a large villa with his own Servants and everything. He was very nerevous, and he wanted to do his very best, as he really wanted this job. He stopped by the side of the road, and pulled his book out of nowhere, he then began walking again. He wanted to do the perfect Magic Trick to do... and he hadn't found it yet.

Does this sounds familiar? Eh? Hey I've used it in another story but its a good starter...right?

***
When it was his turn to present his best for the Panel, he stepped up onto the stage, and looked over the crowd in front of him. Suddenly, he saw a familiar face...this face he knew...from one of his previous adventures in Rome....he quickly told the judges to let the next person go, as he had to finish something else, first, and he tehn ran off the stage, he ran straight into the waiting arms of his friend:

Can you all help me to convince Jayhawk to post our little Sotryline on the Daily announcements? We have so-far received no attention for all our wonderful works! Just a thought...I don't care if you like it or not, ( ) I just sorta want us to get the posts moving along faster!

Titanicus promised Ish that he could kill the limey b*s*r*, and then he explained to him what they were loooking for,
"So," he finished, "Sounds like fun, eh?" He smiled, "I just realized! The group is back togather, from our last adventure...almost all of us," he looked to Apoltia and Cian, "Plus another two, are here!" His smile faded. "Now, Down to business. I need that book back. Only the souls, chosen before we are born, can be a true magician. But with that book, and all its easy incantations, he could easily take over the world." He looked up, "Jayhawk, can you fly up, and see if you can see anything?" He turned to Ish, "Where do you suppose he would have gone?"...

You want me to e-mail him?
Anyway, Jayhawk why don't you want to put it on the news page?

"Err" Ish thought for a moment and then answered: "I think it was carpion's double. The one from that movie carpion had a golden mask".
"I didn't saw it. Since the local theater started showing fiction shows about kings at the 14th century i stopped going there. Only for my shows."

"Maybe he just went to try out for another show" Inco suggested. Titanicus froze and said to himself "That bloody A**hole! he is going to try to make it in another show!"
"Last heard he was trying to get in to a show called 'Land Wars'" said Ish
"What's LandWars?" Titanicus remembered something.

"It's a fiction show about wars and machines and well fiction. It started with a charecter called Luke Skyrunner. He was a farm boy in Carthago. He wanted to be a roman legion. He met with Obi Van Kenoby- a stronge and mighty Jedi who uses the 'Shwortch'. A spaciel power. Later on, SkyRunner meets with loon star, a man from Tingis. Together they blow up the Balistra that threatened to kill his village. The man who built it was named Dark halmet. Lord Dark halmet. In the end Skyrunner needs to face Dark halmet, his father in a duel of Lazer sabers- A jedi's powerful sword. There were 3 shows of it and now came another one called 'dark menace'. There is another one coming soon which Carpion may play in! If he will do it and will get away and play Anriken in the show i'll kill him" said Inco.

"That's another reason why i want to kill him. Anyway, Anriken grows up to be Dark halmet, and he dies at the end, so it just shows that every show Carpion will star in, he will die at the end" Ish smiled. Incon gigled.

Meanwhile up in the sky Jayhawk found traces of Carpion.
He shouted to the group "I found him! he is at 12 o'clock!"
"There were no clocks at that time" Titanicus exclaimed.
But it's not imoprtant. Now what's important is to track down Carpion!...

P.s- I like starwars. What i wrote was a joak with no insulte to any fans of that great movie. All joaks were taken from a movie called Spaceballs, which is making fun from Starwars. If you really liked starwars add Spaceballs to your collection. Oh and by the way- tomorrow i'm leaving back to Israel.

"Who knows, Titanicus," said Civis. "Jayhawk has a lot of stuff going on and needs to be in a lot of places. Anyway, we know what tree it is. Incon pointed it out already. Let's try something, okay?"

"Try what, Civis?"

"Let's try a little Tusky power. Get a fuzzy off that bush there, Incon.

"Hold on. Okay, got it. Now what do you have in mind, Civis?"

"Bring it over here and call Tusky. I'll stand by the tall palm tree where we think the book is stashed."

Tusky came padding up to Incon when he heard her call and Incon led the pachyderm over to the palm tree.

Civis walked around to the elephant's side and gently tickled Tusky with the fuzzy leaf thing. The elephant's head began to nod up and down and its big ears began to flap. He rocked back and forth trying to decide whether he liked it or not. Tusky decided he did not and it was time to do something about it.

Tusky trumpeted once then sidled over to the trunk of the giant palm tree and began giving himself a monumental scratching to ease a monumental itch. The palm tree caught the worst of it making the tree trunk sway. The more Tusky scratched, the more the palm tree shook and swayed. One more giant scratching and the palm tree gave up. Down poured broken branches, green nut like things that sloshed inside and a large heavy book.

"There it is, everyone! It's my book! We'll be home before you know it!" yelled an excited Titanicus.

Titanicus opened the book, curious to see what was in it. Just as he suspected, the pages were blank...except for one page where he saw an illustration of a man wearing a gold mask with his tongue sticking out of the opening that served as a mouth.

Civis, looking over Titanicus' shoulder, said, "Just wanted to see what was up there, and now we know. Clever chap, that Carpion (or whatever his name is)."

Ish stood there doing a slow burn. Just the mention of the name 'Carpion' sent his blood pressure soaring...

Civis- 'Carpion' is how we call leonardo de carpio in Israel. 'Carpion' is that ugly smelly fish, and it's seems that fish is de carpio's brother.

Ish became reder and reder
"I don't think you should have mentioned Carpion's name..." Titanicus folded his arms around his chest.
"RRRRRRRRRR....." Ish started running around squeeking "Carpion- ERRRRRR!".
Incon whispered something to Tusky. He ran to a near by lake and filled his trunk with water, and then ran back to Incon. She whispered another nothing, and in a second- Tusky relesed the water on the poor Cherub. He was throwen 5 meters back and he crashed into a tree.
His normal color returned.
"Please. Don't ever mention his name." Ish begged from the group. By that time Jayhawk had landed.
"We need to go! Carpion is on his way with Titanicus book, and who knows what can he do with it!"
Incon mumbled "He might even make a spell, so he won't die in his next show". The group was intensed. If he is going to stay alive in another show, it will be a disaster!
"We must retrive the book and prevent Carpion from Staying alive" Jayhawk Ordered. They agreed with him and started their journey.

Meanwhile somewhere else....

"Soon i will know how to work the spells in this book... soon I shall conquer the world! but first, i must kill the group that is after me" Carpion groaned.
He set on his throwen, with milions of girl fans around him. He called one group to approch him. Soon they started screaming and yelling like wild beasts. The other girls were disappointed they weren't picked.
"Yes Carpion? we love you we love you" one of the girls asked. He pointed somewhere on a map. "You will go to here and kill the group of people that will pass there."
She nodded and ran out with her other friends.

The group passed a road with two trees and many bushes
"This looks like a very good place to attack" Civis exclaimed.
"How do you know?" Jayhawk asked
"I am a commander right? I know these things"
As he said that the group of fans jumped out toward them screaming "We will die for Carpion!"
"Oh no! those are Carpion's bloody fans!" Incon shout caused Tusky to rise his front legs.
The girls screamed and ran away.
"That wasn't bad right?"
Then came another group, ready with armor and with full ammo. one of them was a mage.
"*gulp* What will we do now?"...

"Amazons and a mage, what do we do now?" they said among themselves.

"Wait a moment," said Apolita. "I know I've been very quiet lately but this is something I can help solve and I can't be quiet about it."

"How can you solve it, Apolita?" asked Titanicus.

"These Amazons are obviously teen-age girls. I'm an expert in teen-age girls having just recently been one. Watch and you'll see."

Apolita promptly stood on a tree stump and looked towards where the armor laden girls were dancing around the mage saying over and over again: "We love you Carpion, oh yes we do...We love you Carpion, and we'll be true..." Then they screamed and charged the sextet.

Apolita suddenly let loose with a scream of her own, nearly as loud as the charging Amazons. The shear dramatics of the scream caused the Amazons to stop dead in their tracks in pure amazement.

Apolita saw her chance. She cried out at the top of her lungs while pointing to the far horizon, "By the gods, over there, over there... It's...it's...Rickius Martinus!! Then Apolita screamed again and fainted dead away, falling into Civis's arms and making no further movement, except for the exaggerated wink she cast at him while cradled in his arms.

Amazon eyes suddenly opened wide upon hearing the name of the most major, incredible, fantabulous 'hunk' of all. Flushes started at toes and worked their way up to the very tops of their heads. Then the screaming began anew, but this time they all ran off in the direction Apolita had pointed to, never to be seen again. This left the mage alone in the field.

"I can deal with him," said Titanicus with confidence.

"So," said Civis to Apolita, the young woman seemingly very content to be where she was at the moment. "Tell me, considering how you just behaved, what is the difference between teen-age girls and a recently evolved young lady like yourself."

Two knowing eyes opened up and a smirk grew on Apolita's face. "The same difference as between the apprentice and the master of the trade, Civis."

"Really? And what trade is that?"

"You'll be the last to figure it out, soldier of Roma." Civis frowned in confusion. Apolita merely smiled, letting the sparkle in her eyes further discomfort the Roman in whose arms she was being held.

Titanicus was getting uncomfortable. He looked over the two, he could tell Cian wasn't all that happy about the show being put on either.

"Okay! Okay! Break it Up...Get a Room...I don't care, just, sheez, not in front of...Jayhawk...he has a weak stomach." He winked, and then looked towards the woods where Incon had earlier disapeared to. "You guys, we need to go get Incon...what if she was trampled by the stampede of raging hormones...I sense something is wrong, we need to go check this out, C'mon!" he said leading them into the dense foiliage. (Oooh I love that word! "Foiliage" ) They walked over some crushed branches and pushed over trees, but no Incon.

"Geez..." Muttered Titanicus, "Couldn't Tusky just have left a sign that said, 'Tusky Was Here' He left enough...distruction," he said stepping over a trampled Tree.

"Dangit, Where is she?" He exclaimed, getting frustrated, and feeling sorry for being so imbasulic...

Civis caught up with Titanicus, who was examining some foliage with the greatest of interest.

"Hey, Titanicus! How did you deal with the mage, anyway. I was a little busy and didn't see what happened."

Titanicus looked up from his ardent examination of a mangled bush and answered, "Oh yes, the mage. It was easy enough. I simply..."

(A mage is like a wizard, only with years of experience & a lot smarter...kinda like a Professor of something becoming Professor Emeritus at the end of his career...)

The gang ran through the broken bracken until they nearly bumped into an elephant's rump. They carefully slipped round the huge pachaderm's body until they recognised their old friend Big Tusky, their fond friend Incontinentia sitting on his neck...and the dreaded Mage Carpion being squeezed by his trunk!

"What's going on here?!" Titanicus asked the Londinium governor.

Incon, however, was completely distracted with instructing her big, grey buddy. "That's it, Tusky!" she cried, grinning. "Crush that mealy-mouthed, simpering, bedwetting little wimp! Don't stop squeezin' til you hear bones pop, big fella!"

Big Tusky, a loather of the dreaded Carpion, was only too happy to oblige. Mage Di Crappocino writhed between his trunk and his tusks, too much breath squeezed out of him to beg for help.

Jayhawk stepped forward. "Enough of this! Incon - what do you think you're doing?"

"Putting this little spud out of our miseries!" she informed him. "He's ruined enough public entertainments to last a lifetime! And - HE HATES ELEPHANTS!! This time - it's personal..."

"Stop that squeezing!" Civis implored. "While I completely agree with our grey friend's actions, we should be humane here..."

"Agreed," Jayhawk decided. "Incon, command Tusky to let him go. We won't let him get away. He's the only one who knows where Titanicus' book is. Go on, now...put him down."

Incon made a face at him. "But - he SUCKS! He's a zit on the backside of humanity! For the Gods' sakes, Jayhawk - didn't you ever see 'Titanic'?!?!?"

"That's not important, now!" Jayhawk cried. "Stop Tusky turning him into so much icky goo, this minute!!"

Incon fumed, but did as he demanded. It took several minutes. (Once an elephant gets a plan in their mind, there's just no shifting it...)

"Spoil my fun..." Incon muttered, and wandered off to find Tusky some fresh sugar cane. Tusky gave the party a withering look, and followed her.

"Now, Fishy Mage," Titanicus stood over the severely injured wizard, "...WHERE THE HECK IS MY SPELLBOOK?!?!?!?!?!"

"Gimme a break, guys," Mage Carpion wheezed through broken ribs, "that elephant really did a number on me..."

"Me and Tusky will GLADLY give him another break!!" Incon called from a nearby coconut grove.

"He wasn't referring to his bones, Incon!" Jayhawk cocked an eyebrow at her. Which made her mutter and wander a little further away. Closely followed by her fuming elephant.

"So," Apolita shrugged, "how exactly are we going to get our Spellbook back?"

Jayhawk

"We can just ask him?" Civis suggested.
"Never!" di Crapporcino hissed between clenched teeth.

"We can threaten to tear him apart bit by bit, " Titanicus suggested.
The mage threw him a withering glance.

"I think I can find a way. Civis hold him tightly." Jayhawk approached the di Capriarty and put his hands on either side of the man's head. He closed his eyes and started to chant under his breath.

The mage started to struggle, then started shivering , his eyes were glazing over and he seemed to be fighting to breathe. Sweat broke from his brow and his skin started to turn a slightly blueish. The angel removed his hands and looked di Capriarty in the eyes.
"Now, will you tell us what you did to Titanicus book?"
"Yes, yes, I'll say anything! Please, don't send me back...please..."
"So, where is the book?"
"I...I...don't know. I wanted to get rid of it and called up a sylph and a salamander and told them to hide it."
"Is that all you can tell us?" The angels's voice was a dry rustle.
"Yes, I sent them away yesterday. I didn't want the book. It's too dangerous. Please..." He pleaded, would have fallen to his knees if Civis had let him.
"Please don't send me back...."

"I don't think he can tell us more" Cian said.
"What do we do with him, Master?" Titanicus asked,
"Kill him?"
"No, leave him, whatever the angel did to him seems to have broken his spirit."

"What did you do to him?" Civis asked when the walked off to join Incon. The mage was whimpering behind them.
"I sent his mind away."
"Where to? What was there that scared him so?" Apolita wanted to know.
"Sent who where?" Incontinentia queried
"I sent his to mind to a ship sinking in the icy sees, locked in a room, below decks...

The girls and even Civis paled.
"That...that was aweful..."
"I know, " the angel's eyes flashed with green fire, "would you known a better way?"
The sadness in his voice was miles deep. Incon put a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"So, " Titanicus said, "how do we chase a sylph and a salamander?"

What's a Sylph?

"Maybe," Said Titanicus, "We need To Find their Hide Out. Don't Salamander's usually hang out in dark moist places, where they wont get stepped on?" He looked around the nodding group, "And, As for the Sylph. I haven't a clue. But, wouldn't they be hangin' out togather? If we find one, we can find the other...I doubt they will be to...careful, i mean, A Salamander has a brain the size of a...pea!"

I'm here. I just came home! Home sweet home!

"I have no idea what or where can we find that 'Sylph'" Ish winced
"So we got to find a dark moist cave..." Aplotia cuddled in Civis' arms. This made him smile
"Guys!" Incon shouted. The party came to her, and she explained what just happened: "I was looking for that suger can for Big Tusky" Tusky made a face that almost looked like a smile
"And i found out this!" she pointed to a small entrance who was a small cave. A small dark cave.
"Well, we'd better look for the salamnder there" Titanicus said, and they entered the cave.

"Rose! Rose!" Crapporchino Cried. He was tighed to a long bar. The water almost reached his legs.
"I'm here jack!"
"Free me Rose!"

Jayhawk felt strange. The other group members noticed it, and Titanicus asked him: "What's wrong J?"
"I feel strange, like something..." He closed his eyes, and focused on something. Then his opened his eyes and they had a strange shape and color that only those new lences can make.
"Done" He chuckled

Rose suddenly disappeared and insted came Dartk halmet with his lazer saber.
"How dare you shame my character?!" He clicked the handle of the saber and a red light poped.
"You are a shame to the LandWars Trilogy!"
"NOOOOOOOOO!" Carpion screamed, as Halmet swung his saber thru Crappochino. He was sliced to two...

Titanicus rolled his eyes, immediatly the dark aparition before them molded (like Clay) into to balls...the spherical objects grew, and shaped out into two creatures...A Sylph and a Salamanderwho, which then molded back togather, forming a Sylphamander. Titanicus, who was in the front of the group, jumped back, knocking everyone back, and down. into the murky waters...they all disapeared under the murky water... Titanicus yelped, and felt something grabbing and his legs...suddenly he was pulled under...

***

Titanicus woke up... he was being swpet along in a steady current...he was under water. He gasped, he looked around, he could see his group in the same disposition as him, even Tusky...he could see an air bubble above him...he grasped at it...but all he felt was water...cold...cool water...he felt as if he were choking...it was getting dark...what was going on?! He blacked out..as the swift current continued to carry him and his group along into complete-unknowingness...

Titanicus woke to the feeling of sand beneath his face. He was lying on a small, dark beach. There was a sliver of moon that shed a tiny amount of light on the scene.

Around him, his fellow travellers were lying in prone positions, unconscious from their mysterious underwater trip. Except for Incon and her faithful pachaderm, Tusky. She was sat on the beach, stroking her pet's trunk and smiling to herself.

"Incon! Are you okay?" Titanicus asked, approaching her.

"Just wonderful," she sighed, smiling at him. "I could die a happy governor right now, after seeing the Dreaded Di Crappocino sliced in two. I'd pay good dinari to see it again, if such a thing were possible..."

"Wow...you *really* don't like that guy, do you..." Titanicus commented.

"My only regret in life is that I wasn't the one swinging the laser sword that sent that disgusting little spud to B-Movie Hell," she replied.

Tusky burped.

Titanicus shrugged, and noticed the others were gradually awakening.

"Ooooh, my head..." Apolita moaned, sitting up and clutching her temples.

"Hey...where *are* we?" Civis asked.

Titanicus looked around, and tried to get his bearings...

Okay, I'm back. Had pressing business to attend to. So what do I find, but this thread going wierd. Let's see if we can lasso this bucking bronco of a story line.

____________________________

All six, and Big Tusky, found themselves conscious again exactly in the same place they were when the odd sensations started. They were bone dry. Not a sign of water anywhere. But they did hear noises,or shall it be said the shy hint of a noise, like a rustling sound coming from the nearby vegetation.

Out of the corner of his eye, Jayhawk thought he saw a small, slender creature on two legs flit from one bush to another. Not sure he looked over to Civis. The soldier nodded his head and cocked an eyebrow in the general direction in which he had seen the same movement.

Jayhawk thought for a moment, then closed his eyes and concentrated. A collection of vine-like vegetation suddenly came alive and began snapping their vine ends like bull whips. This so frightened whatever was in the bush that it leaped into the clearing backwards then spun around to face the Romans, fear evident in its face.

The creature was about 5 foot tall, light blue in color, very slender of build and girlish in appearance. She had sea green eyes and light green hair. Her fingers and toes were longish and ended in small flattened pads. The six could see her fingers clearly as she had promptly placed them on her hips when she turned while manufacturing a venemous scowl on her face.

"That was not nice!" the creature cried out. "You frightened me! I did nothing to you for you to treat me so!"

Apolita asked the creature, "And tell us, just who or what are you anyway?"

"A sylph, a water sylph to be exact." She was calming down now that the immediate fear of the vines was easing.

"Were you responsible for our nearly drowning?" asked Titanicus.

"You weren't drowning at all. That was the mage's doing. When a mage leaves this world violently there can be unleashed hundreds of wild spells, nightmares and other random bad things. One of Caprion's spells caught you unprepared. He's gone now, and so is his spell. You are safe."

Jayhawk spoke next. "We truly mean you no harm. What is your name?"

"Aqualene," she answered. "Aqualene, the Water Sylph. Do you promise not to harm me?"

"We do," said Civis and the others. "On our lives, we promise." Satisfied, the sylph sat down where she stood and began to look over these newfound visitors to her domain. The others made no moves towards her lest she be frightened off unnecesarily.

Ish, I strongly object to killing people, either directly or indirectly. Please refrain from 'character assassination' in the future.

As for Titanicus' question(s). A Sylph is an air elemental spirit, just like a Salamander is a fire elemetal spirit (not likely to reside in small dank cave )

Civis, I think water sylphs are a "contradictory in terms" If memory serves me well, they are Nereids. So I hope you won't mind me making her a nereid.

Aqualene looked at Jayhawk, her big green eyes focused on the angel's dark wings.
"You have wings...are you an air spirit?"
"Err, a bit of everything, I'm afraid, but yes, mainly air and fire."
The Sylphs eyes grew even wider.
"I was wondering, " Jayhawk asked, "did you know that mage?"
"Why, not really, but friend of mine know him. They run errands for him. I saw them the other day, dragging a book along."
"That's my...ouch" Titanicus threw a dirty look at Incon, who had elbowed him.
"Shush," she whispered.

The Nereid looked at them and moved a step backwards.
"Don't go, " Jayhawk almost purred."
She froze.
"Don't mind my friends, they are not going to hurt you. Where did your friends go with the book? wasn't it too heavy for them?"
"Oh, I don't know. Aerial was pulling it partly of the ground with Ignis pushing, his stubby hands wrapped in some sort of cloth."
Titanicus jumped up and shouted:
"Where did they go!"

Aqualene jumped, threw a last look at the angel and his friends and disappeared in the shrubs, with a rustle like a brook rushing over the stones.

"That was great, Titanicus, just great" Civis grumbled.
Titanicus looked dejected,
"But my...my book. She knew where my book went..."

"Now what do we do?" Apolita asked her father.
"I think we should be able to trace those two."
The old wizard replied.
"At least we know the went through here. We should find be able to find their trail. See if you can find traces of fire somewhere near.

No problem, Jayhawk. Actually, I base my information on fantastic creatures from the Xanth series of novels by Piers Anthony. I don't otherwise consume a steady diet of fantasy novels, preferring true science fiction over fantasy. Therefore, knowledge of these imaginary creatures is not my strong suit, and on this occasion as you correctly pointed out I mentally confused 'sylphs' with 'nereids'. Sorry for the mix up, but I intended Aqualene to be the creature who leads them to the salamander. Not being a sylph, but nereid, she is not the character to do so. However, she could be the character that leads the group to the sylph. I'll leave it for others to sort this out. -Civis Romanus

(Sorry, too, Jayhawk - I contributed to a character death by cheering the demise of the Dreaded di Crappocino. But Ishaius is right - it's di Crappio! You gotta cheer!

Civis, you & me think alike - I'll take sci-fi over fantasy any day, but I still do like a steady intake of fantasy. In Britain we call them naiads, water spirits. Interesting to learn their name has different spellings in different parts of the world...

...erm, is anyone going to continue the story now we're all sorted out? OK, I'll give it a shot...)

Just then...Tusky burped. For no apparent reason.

Titanicus looked to Turky, and rolled his eyes, then he looked to Cian, "What do we need to find...traces of fire for?"
