"Ozmosis"
The travellors soon found themselves in front of the gates to this fabulous city of OZ. Incon reached up to knock on the thick wooden doors, but before the knuckles of her hand reached the wood of the door a rapping sound was heard. Then, as her knuckles struck on the door, the rapping sound disappeared. She tried it again. The same thing happened.
A little door they hadn't previously noticed was suddenly closed shut by an unseen hand. "Whose not there?" a voice inquired.
"We are travellers seeking the great Lizard of Oz," said Civis.
"You are or are not. It makes no difference! Be unprecise," the voice said.
"I don't understand what you want us to say!" exclaimed Civis.
"Excellent! Now you have it. So, are you here or not?"
"This is ridiculous!" said Civis to the others. "I almost don't care whether I'm anywhere at this moment!" The others frowned in similar frustration.
"Well for crying out loud! Why didn't you say so in the first place. Come out! Come out! You're most unwelcome to exit. Let me close the doors for you," said the disembodied voice.
The doors to the city swung inwards and the group, led by Tusky, walked past the doors and into the city. All stopped dead in their tracks in surprise and considerable awe at the amazing sights before them. It was Titanicus who found voice enough to speak first.
"You know," said Titanicus to Civis, "I think I've heard of this place in legends in my land."
"Really. What do the legends say about it?"
"There is a special term used in conjunction with this city. Something very strange. Oh, I remember now. 'Reverse' Ozmosis, I believe.
Indeed, it was a most appropriate term, for before them was the most incredible opposite of a city they could have ever imagined...
