South Texas is having spring-almost-summer weather. High 80Fs and breezy. Showers in the afternoon.
I have some kind of vine growing on a wrought iron structure. It is doing fine, and is showing off its ONE flower again. Now, I appreciate ONE flower, but how come after 3 years it isnt covered with purple blooms?

About 3 dwarf ones have opened their yellow trumpets. There's also a crocus that raised ít's pretty purple head, longweed (?) and deep purple helebore.
Of course there's lots more daffodils to come, and hyacints and a few tulips. I seem to have lost at last half of my anemones though...
Warm today, low 80s. Still 77 right now and it's after dark.
Our daffodils are almost all gone. Mainly tulips, anemones, and especially ranunculus right now.

Yep..I checked the Tulip tree today, and some of the buds in the lower protected areas are trying to show color.
Almost 60F today..sure balmy for February

So it is now officially springtime? What was the transition between spring and winter really like? From your weather reports here, I couldn't find anything hinting the change. It's like all of a sudden that spring came back again...
It did rain a little today. But it was just tiny drizzles...

Nothing drastic changes..the daily mean temps moderate and trees and flowers start their spring "rebirth" cycle. I look for the crocus and daffodils..that usually means springlike conditions are possible.
Nice and Sunny most of the day..we broke 60F again..that'll make those early flowers bloom like crazy

It's nearing 10pm now. The skies are really very dark. Dark as in they're covered with clouds. Looks like I can't go jogging tomorrow morning with all the rain...

We are well into spring weather here. It's been mid 80s to low 90s for the past two weeks and sunny. Absolutely gorgeous!

TOO SUNNY! I went out this morning and boy! It was really scorching heat. Around 35 degrees Celsius, I reckon. My dad's car was turned literally into a furnace after being parked just half an hour under the sun. But the flowers were nice. Mum went to have a look at the cacti. Odd. I never knew she loved them so much.

Back down to normal temps here... Mid 70s during the day, low 50s to high 40s at night. Yesterday actually felt like a Santa Ana was starting, so that might warm things up again.

Currently 22.6c, air pressure constant, fully occluded, and as dark as the London glow allows. Barometer is predicting rain, but hopefully I'll be asleep!
Today it has been continually overcast but without any rain. Hey, hear that? ... day without rain in Blighty!
Ah the joys of spring.

You're from Britain, Purdyj? 22.6 degrees Celsius sounds pretty warm for there...
