OK.. New thread

South Texas is having spring-almost-summer weather. High 80Fs and breezy. Showers in the afternoon.

I have some kind of vine growing on a wrought iron structure. It is doing fine, and is showing off its ONE flower again. Now, I appreciate ONE flower, but how come after 3 years it isnt covered with purple blooms?

I'm wondering, when will the daylights saving time be changed back to the normal time?

Depends on what you are on presently..standard or daylight?.. Your are GMT +8 from my time zone..I think

The rain began at dusk...a real soaker, and the ducks love it Little warmer with the rain..as expected.

We use normal time. When the DST is activated, we become 13 hours faster than Eastern time. When the forums use normal time, we are exactly 12 hours faster.

Aren't the ducks afraid of the cold? It has been good weather so far. It didn't rain heavily. Drizzled, though, while I was out. I bought 20 000 leagues under the sea. I've never read it before.

I prefer normal time..I guess, I don't pay that much attention..go with whatever the clock says

It rain on and off today..and Yes the Ducks love the rain..and wet. Not the real severe cold..but do well with our normal winters.

Nice..Jules Verne..and I suppose you've already seen the movie..??

Beautiful weather today, mid to high 70s with very few clouds in the sky. A light breeze that was just enough to be comfortable while I was raking tons of leaves in the backyard

You when I first read that title I thought that was the depth they'd travel too, not the distance. I was very confused when I heard that the oceans were not deep enough to allow that.

Dreary weather here...

When I first read the book..I didn't have the concept of what a "league" was other than the sports type. So read the book without pretense..well I knew the Oceans were deep.

Drizzle..and damp, snow levels are sliding down the slopes Might make it to 45F today if we're lucky.

I will be seeing the LoTR movie for the second time in less than a week..I think I'll take an extra cushion this time.

The best way to describe today's weather: I had the air conditioner on in the car on the way home for lunch

It rained and stopped several times today. We were trying out the new batch of students to join our volleyball team. It rained heavily and we had to keep the equipment. However, after just 5 minutes, it stopped completely and we came down to dry the court. As we were starting off again, it rained...

Cool and damp..no rain, though it is threatening. Good snow pack accummulation on the nearby mountains..which mean the ski buses are busy.

I'll bet it's unsual to see frost on those palm trees ..if that ever happens.

The Sun worked on drying out a few puddles today...restaurant was really busy for mid-week. I think cabin fever might be the cause..it occurs about this time of the year.

Close to 55F on the patio this afternoon..so expect it to be really foggy in the morning..

Balmy days, chilly nights. Perfect weather to catch a cold. My daughter has one right now and my wife and I both had one for the last few days . Nothing major, just an annoyance

Hi Memsurs ..I had some friends leave for Yuma this week..couldn't take it anymore. Both had colds and couldn't wait to get to the desert to "dry out"

Suppose to rain this weekend..I have a Auto Show to attend..it's all indoors, so no threats to the show an shine

Same weather again today. Fortunately, I went for french lessons and did not get myself annoyed with volleyball.

Yeah, we do have indoor courts in Singapore (of course) but it's our school that doesn't. It spent around S$20 million to build a hostel for foreign students, but didn't build indoor sports hall!!
